There were rumors of a movie, though given AGE's lack of success I think that's highly unlikely to ever happen.

Well, with Gundam Unicorn "paying the bills", why the hell not make a AGE movie? Or some other type of continuation, eh?

I would imagine because they would like two franchises making money, not one flushing the proftis down toilet the other makes.

That said, if they do have the balls to leave AGE on a cliff hanger I'm sure it will be finished in Manga or light novel form. Hell given Hino and Level 5 they could try making the finale be in a game, that said we will see if the AGE game performs any better then the AGE anime here in just a short amout of time.

Lots of deaths on both sides, but non of them are retreating. The scale of war is getting bigger then ever.
What would be the outcome for the Asunos and the Vagan boss?

Looks like Deen will be out of the picture by the 48th (after a long talking/dodging scene I presume). I hope there will a glorious end for the long serving Diva (and the Age Builder inside).

LOL at Zeheart failing once again, even with a fancy name new weapon.

The Digma Zenon cannon is likely the weapon that took out Big Ring, so I wouldn't call it a "new" weapon.

Holy crap do we have to go through an entire episode of Kio crying "Deen, we should understand each other!?"

On that matter the 49th episode is weird. Has any gundam series ended on a cliff hanger? I don't recall any. ANd final boss, I don't see how Sid coming into the field would get everyone to get along with each other.

That giant cannon against a such a small ship? Seems like maximum overkill to me. I'll place my bet on the Zenon cannon being a weapon from the large MA seen in the OP.

I don't see a cliffhanger. It looks more like what they would say at the end of episode 48.

So it's really an episode preview of episode 49. And that makes sense; they wouldn't want to spoil the final episode.

What if the final vegan boss is a controlled/slaved Sid? Capturing it would probably be a piece of cake for Zera Grins, the reportedly greatest pilot in all of Age.

The Digma Zenon cannon could be the red-haired La Glamis commander (Ocramund?) surprise.

Fix'd. Sorry, that was something that always annoyed me with the show how it pretends that it's been 70 years when it hasn't been.

Maybe this ending might be a set up for the ''AGE for the older fans'' that they hinted at early on? You know, another time skip to an older Kio for the final conflict in the war in a film/OVA/LN/manga etc. ?

I would agree, though ultimately the final call is going to be whether or not there is interest with the folks over at Sunrise/Bandai and if they wanted to go with AGE any further than this ...

I mean, Destiny was one of the best selling anime of all time, but it's movie has yet to come out even after all these years ...

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Generally, the rule with any of the Gundam shows (or really, Sunrise shows) is that they will be very tight lipped about any spoilers on the finale, even if early on they can be pretty careless with them. So at this point, I doubt we are going to get anything other than really vague synopsis about what it's going to be about.

I figure we will get more useful info out of the game when it comes out in a week than anything in any magazine/internet.

Personally I think the whole "100-year war" thing was mostly a figure of speech, with a century being the closest general timeline term that the duration of the war fits into, so they said that just so they wouldn't have to get scarily accurate about details alluding to the future.

Well really, until we know for sure otherwise, the only reason we're not getting the SEED movie is because of production troubles with the writer and such. I know a lot of people find that bogus but it's all we really know right now.

i wonder how all the plot holes will be covered within the final four episodes.
theres just many to think of.

it likely that asemu's time with bisidian might as well be covered entirely in the manga.

What if there are other SID class units, guarding off-site backups of the EXA-DB?

Just saw the latest episode and I've been thinking about the upcoming final battle. Who will fight who? Seeing that Zeheart has been made the leader of the Vagans, will he face Kio or (I would prefer that) Asemu? What about "the greatest Vegan Pilot"? And going by the opening SID/Shido/CID will return. Then there's also Flit and Fram. There a so many possibilties now, I can't wait for the conclusion of this show.

Well with Zeheart getting a unit upgrade doesn't seem like Asemu is set to face him. Suppose if you want matchup guesses it will be: Kio vs Zeheart, Super Pilot vs Vagan's Greatest Pilot, Flit vs Fram.

Suspect after all the major battles are done whoever is left will team up to tackle the Super SID.

That sounds like a plausible scenario. Maybe we will have tag team match between Asemu and Kio vs Zeheart and that greatest Pilot-guy? I guess Asemu will try to talk Zeheart out of following into Escelcants footsteps. Or a six man-tag team with Fram and Flit included?

Yeah, I could get behind that tag team situation. Still allows Asemu to throw some words Zeheart's way while facing off against the best the Vagans can bring.

Does seem like with Zeheart going all out with his X-Rounder abilities and Kio doing the same that they are bound to face off. Suppose if we find that the Vagan pilot isn't an X-Rounder either then that'd clinch it.

I could see all of them short of the Vagan pilot joining up to take on the Super SID. Flit pulls out of his anger short of killing Fram during some revelation connecting her and Yurin. Not that they are actually connected but she's got to be there to send the message of how far into the dark he's going.

It could be rather similar to the battle for the moon base with all these fights going on relatively near each other.

I have high hopes for the upcoming episodes. Can't wait to see how they will handle the last battle. There is also another Factor named Deen. He will be facing Kio soon. I wonder how that will affect Kio. Maybe he will convince Deen to stop the fighting, but Deen will get killed by Zeheart or Fram or some other person? Seeing that people like to compare Kio and Kira, I wouldn't be suprised if Kio would enter a rage-mode like Kira did in the last episode of SEED.
