You know I have to say I wholeheartedly agree here.
For the most part most MC are really likable so can be a little difficult throwing any sympathy towards the girls that like em and lose out but in this case Shinigawa is very likable.
He would be one of the few MC that you can have no problems with girls actually liking him.

Much like with SR, Kenji was awesome and the ups and down of the characters involved with him was quite the rollercoaster ride.
I'm just glad he ended up with the character I liked the most, which I actually expect to happen here as well

Well I'm liking how things are going atm, maybe a tad slow but surely.

Oh man... if he doesn't find out after this and it drags on for too long, I think I'll call it quits with this manga. There's only so much stupidity I can take before I give up. Dragging this out for so long will not be funny for me... It's one of the big reasons why I'll never read Detective Conan. 700 chapters and his girlfriend still doesn't know it's him.

The romance has always been secondary or even the third theme of this series. It's mostly gag manga in general with bit of highschool drama lol. As for Conan, I don't see how anyone can make the connection that a 10 year old can be their boyfriend....

The thing is, it's been shown that Shinagawa isn't actually stupid or dense. Yeah, he's a jerk at times because he's a yankee, but he's been shown to be insightful and when he tries, he shows that he's quite intelligent. His rampant stupidity with Adachi just feels like it's there to frustrate and annoy (unless you find misunderstandings like that funny, which I don't-- especially when everyone around him can tell, but not him).

Nah, Shinagawa is dense as a brick wall when it comes to girls. You can be smart as hell, but still be stupid when it comes to romance. Hikari from Special A is a perfect example of that...

The romance part in YKMC is a complete tease ... and I wouldn't want it any other way, that's just how the series has always been. I'm okay with how slow the romance progresses as long as it does progress somehow at all which I think it does.

Yes that is the best part. The mangaka does a wonderful job actually advancing the romance despite all the teases.

So is Adachi going to come to school without braids and glasses from now on? Yea pretty much no girl stands a chance against her.

I don't understand how Adachi could look like a delinquent. A delinquent connotates a mean, untidy look. How could someone who looks that nice look like a delinquent? It's her reputation that made her one in the past. Unless someone actually knows her, her look without glasses isn't going to ring any bells.

The romance is developing nicely. Shinagawa was in danger of starting to treat her awkwardly like the typical high school crush, but he's recovered from that nicely.
