Yeah, if you took a look at the bubble in the last episode, you'd have seen the entrance... It looked like a big metal door.

I never thought that I'd think the old Sanji wasn't annoying.. but, compared to the way he is now... He wasn't annoying at all... O.o

While I was watching I was thinking wasn't Sanji's dream to get to the "All Blue" seems the anime was two steps ahead of me because they got that in there.

I also loved everyone in their T-Shirts...so cute.

And Oda's world building is once again fantastic, but we already knew that!

Well story-wise this isn't a bad thing. As the crew gets larger it's harder to focus on each character individually when they are all together. With smaller groups it's easier to get individual character focus.

Not to mention when you do separate them into small groups you get different interactions between the characters.

It's fine, it's not like they are separated for good! They can trust in each other to be fine even when they are not all together. That shows the strong bond between the characters.

Yes but this separation is different from that one.

In the last one we only really got Luffy. I love Luffy but I missed the other Straw Hats. This time they are separated yes, but for the viewer we will still get them all.

And like I said the separation is more for story reasons, not to keep them apart.

It is true that compared to now Sanji wasn't a bother at all before. Of course didn't think he was bad then either since it was fairly well controlled. Sadly his nightmare on that island has completely screwed him up. Not sure what the heck they can do about it though. But really they've got to or else he's not surviving this trip to fishman island.

And wow never thought I'd see it, someone who actually is bothered by Arlong getting defeated. Don't know who this 'boss' is, but someone should point out that Arlong was garbage.

But hey we finally made it to the island. I'm fine with some minor separation since not like it'll take years to get them back together....right ?

Sanji I don't mind at the minute really, my wife was cracking up most of the time in this episode, with sanji meeting the mermaids was kinda cute for her to see I guess. I myself found it funny the first few times but I do hope it stops.

This weeks episode was comedy gold. Sanji's antics are pretty much my favourite part of this arc, and they do not disappoint at all animated.

As expected, Fish-man island looks so stunning animated.

Jouji Nakata is sounding damn good here. Great choice.

Sanji spent 2 years running in terror from queens, whose sole wish was to force a dress ON him, and force something IN him....

I still don't know why they were all men in drag...
Their leader has the power to turn all of them into women with his freaky needle fingers...
Like all of the people he was in prison with.. all the men used to be women and all the women used to be men... So why didn't he just turn them all into the women they wanted to be?..

I bet Sanji even ran in his sleep... I can just see him running.. and snoring at the same time...

^ He's referring to Arlong's character and impact in the story, I'm sure. Many people consider this "new threat" a cheap imitation of Arlong, and thus they feel he doesn't bring anything special to the table.

In shounen, order of fight isn't always a good gauge for power level even when you add upgrades into the equation.
Ex: Bleach Kenpachi vs Byakuya.

I might be mistaken, but I think Arlong was Jinbei's right hand man at one point in time, so I wouldn't be quick to dismiss him as insignificant compared to the new guy, but I don't know the new guy, so we'll see.

I'm not finding myself annoyed by Sanji's antics (yet), they are amusing, but if they beat the horse into mush (as I'm sure they will), then my opinion will change.
What I do find they've turned the horse into mush is with Brook's gag phrase;
"My x is doing y, yet I don't have x, bla bla."
