Kyuubi is part of the answer, but ultimately, it is a number system. If Naruto makes one Kage Bushin, then half of his chakra is given to that creation, if he makes 2 Kage Bushins, then the total chakra supply is split into thirds, 4 Kage Bushins = fifth, 5 Kage Bushins = sixths, and so on. So, no matter what, the chakra is distibuted equally. (It should be noted that Naruto has amazing recovery time, so he can fill his reserves far faster than a normal shinobi.) Added to that, there is some amount of chakra that is needed as a baseline to be able to use Kage Bushin. Specifically, a person probably needs a chakra reserve the size of a chuunin's in order to be able to split their chakra evenly without harm to the original body.

That being said, the Kyuubi helps greatly. Taijuu Kage Bushin is only possible due to the Kyuubi and it's constant supply of chakra that Naruto can draw upon. Naruto has a phenomenal amount of chakra, well beyond any character in the series, but Naruto can only make a few dozen Kage Bushins before even he starts to get tired. With the Kyuubi though, Naruto can spam Kage Bushins repeatedly (he made up to 2000 in his fight with Gaara).

The anime is currently covering Chapters 338-340 (or therebouts).

Well if you want to read chapters when Shika just leaves Konoha then start around chapter 331. Shika makes smoking look cool again ha.

eps86-87 there was talk about the Feudal Lord wanting shikamaru to join his office, but declined.

so back to the latest chapter in the manga....so far the Feudal lord is doing jackshit compared to the hokage, danzou, and the 2 elders.....

they build up the feudal lord to be someshit in the anime/manga with 11 protectors, yet hasnt done shit till now.......very disappointing...

The Fire Daimyo has never been named, and besides the partially reffrences to the Wind and Mist Daimyo in Part I, and the 12 Guardians in Part II, we have never really seen how they are connected to the Shinobi world (They seem to have almost absolute control, but it is unclear how that is possible (i.e. does the Daimyo have some sort of army that can fight shinobi if the shnobi decide to rebel? etc.).)

If there is a Part III, maybe that will be when the Daimyo come to the forfront of the story...

Think of Fuuton: Rasengan as being similar to Chidori. It has a base form which can be used as is (ala Chidori) or it can be expaned upon to create more powerful techniques (ala Chidori Eisou or Naruto's own Rasenshuriken).

Okay, so Pain is Yahiko's body. The actual Pain is Nagato then? If so, does that mean that Yahiko is dead? Is Yahiko's body dead, thus why he isn't using his own body?

Well madara is the mizukage, now there are two plausible answers I can think of, no one knows the face of the real mizu(uses a mask or thanks to the kage outfit but how would kisame know it then?), or madara doesn't really look like he did back in the day (body switch theory's like obito being tobi have been around for long though I don't really think that's true).

Madara isn't the Mizukage anymore. Kishimoto changed what Kisame said from 水影様 (Mizukage-sama) in the WSJ version to 元水影様 (former Mizukage-sama. 元 moto means former) in the volume version

As long as I can skip certain arcs, and fast-forward during some of the extremely long verbose segments, then, Yes, I would rewatch the series (some time in the future).
