Well, the episode was overall nice and interesting. I like Halibel's style and her sword looks awesome. Well, she looks awesome, too. I wish there was another episode this week.

P.S. By the way, question to only anime watchers who were not spoiled yet. What do you think Barragan represents? Manga readers were not able to speculate here since scene is changed in anime.

I like that the anime team had the balls to add a Hallibel flashback, it gives me hope for future filler arcs. I would really like to see an arc about how Aizen conquered HM, it would be cool to see the treacherous trio in action, especially if they didn't have to face the seemingly immortal cast of heroes.

I definetly would watch that, espada getting the attention they deserve would be the best thing to happen in Bleach.

Did they change Hallibel's release outfit this episode? It seems different than last episodes'.

Also, on a somewhat unrelated note, I just watched the new OP for the first time, its pretty awesome, but really loaded with spoilers.

If I had to guess at this point, I'd think that Barragan's death aspect be death itself. But that'd it'd be more fitting if he was #1, like the other Espadas are nothing compared to...THE REAL THING. Too corny I guess

if anyone cares, he is at 6/12 petals in the manga panel corresponding to the end of this episode.

For a while thought the lack of petals showed some power growth on Hitsugaya's part. That he had moved past the point of them being necessary. Maybe the whole thing was intentional or maybe they just didn't feel like animating the petals moving along with him during the fight .

Probably later because I think that he himself had made a comment about petals... I think that line has to come next week, wonder if they will draw petals then or will ignore the line completly. would be funny if they had sudenlu appeared out of nowhere.

Any episode where Hitsu eats the dirt is a good one in my book. Also, I am pleasantly surprised that it seems the animation team consistently ungarbles the Bleach fight imagery into something sensible.

Also, isn't anyone else getting weary of all the battles that has been going on. None of them are really interesting except parts of Ichigo vs Ulquiorra. And it looks like there are more of the same battles in the near future.

Yeah, that was my favorite part of the episode. Its a shame that we are almost out of Arrancars for Gin to talk about.

I just have a question for Anime watchers-- does it bother you that the opening credits always show what's to come?

Like Ulq's release, for example. It just looks like really big spoilers to me and it honestly ticks me off, since those are supposed to be jaw dropping scenes but there you get a preview of them

I don't think anyone besides mods on this forum cares at all about anime only watchers. To be honest I'm a little confused by them myself, how could you like a series enough to want to talk about it on the internet, but not like it enough to want to read the original source? That's kind of disrespectful to Kubo. (Not that anyone here cares about that)
