kindaichi spans over 100+ ep covering multiple instances and mystery cases, with both manga, anime, actual drama shows out there while this one's an ova focusing on mainly one story..
sin in the rain is supposedly an adaptation/expansion of a detective/mystery flick radio talk show cant give any more info about sin in the rain as ep1 is basically just background info/introduction to the characters |

I thought this was really good. You can sort of look for clues in people's expressions as to what's happening. In other words, very good and realistic animation!
