Medaka will forever be the MC with Zen gaining MC status only when she's either not around or...actually that's about it.

Zen's like a poor man's version of Lucy while Medaka is Natsu. The former 2 are more audience windows (or were suppose to be) while the other two are the MC period.

Mostly no.

You might've just believed her words for a short period after chapter 140, but after that it becomes clear that nothing has changed at all. Regrettable, really, since Zenkichi would be a far better lead than Medaka, if Ajimu's words reflected the manga that came after them.

If Zenkichi had became the MC then MB would have become a Slice of Life series,

Even if Zenikichi were the main character, he would still have to deal with abnormals but maybe the manga is better off as a 'shitty' romance comedy. Medaka Box ended with Unzan [/fan dumb]

Why?

Zenkichi might be weak in comparison to Medaka and Ajimu, but that means he can't face abnormal enemies? Not every story needs some world shattering cataclysm or an enemy who is inducing such.

He's faced abnormals multiple times in the manga. Not to mention, just look at his Council.

Kajiki won't let Medaka see Fukurou because he's "more dangerous than Iihiko" so she declares a coup d'etat on the Kurokami household, saying she'll become the head of the family right now.
