Couldn't agree more. It's still a bit too early for Christmas music for me (I'm old-fashioned that way...anything before December First just makes me grit my teeth), but it's a lovely album.

Needless to say, the duets are my favorite...and dare I hope that the entire cast will come out to sing "Merry Christmas without You" at the concert...?

His cover is better than I had initially expected when I first came across the video. : ) I hope he does more Macross covers in the future (It looks like he does mostly Vocaloid covers, especially as Kaito. His album, Dearest, has good covers, too.).

I say hope for it because there's a good chance it could happen (and would be incredible).

clear mostly performs Vocaloid covers, but he sings Kaito and Miku songs evenly.
So far, I haven't come across a good cover of Northern Cross by a woman.

It was a little jarring when it came up in my Macross shuffle, even though the pitch is slightly altered and everything.
It's like listening to the 'Burlesque' soundtrack, when you've just heard an awesome set of songs by Christina Aguilera, and then the next song is sung by Cher. :P

EDIT--Cosmic Cuune is beautiful~~ "Merry Christmas Without You" is definitely my favorite track, with "Silent de Nanka Irarenai" a close second. Bobby and Hiroshi Kamiya <3 <3 <3

Okay...I finally officially got my "Merry Christmas without You" ticket today...and it's interesting... The names of the performers are are on the ticket, and I was expected two, maybe three names... but instead, it's got the expected Yoko Kanno, Megumi Nakajima, and May'n, but it goes on to list Aya Endo, Megumi Toyoguchi, and Yuichi Nakamura.

As Basara would say, "I'm getting fired up!"

I was listening to Cosmic Cuune in the car with my mom, and she said "Merry Christmas without You" sounds remarkably like the title song from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. And, well, it kinda does.
