He changes the pitch of his voice to simulate a female's voice. Check out the videos I linked like the Four Elemental Fiends and Super Mario Western Show to see examples of this~

About Sakamoto somebody is reading Cat psychology. As a cat owner yes cats don't like being excessively petted. The reason cats lick themselves after being manhandled is to remove the persons scent. Remember the cat owns you not the other way around. Meowing is a manipulation technique cats developed living with humans.

My favorite character is probably Mai. She can be almost brutally blunt at times, and I love it.

When you come home, your dog says "My master's home!". When you come home to your cat, your cat will say "Oh... my servant is back. Must be time to feed me." I've only recently had a dog and a cat in the same house, and I found out quickly that all these sayings are true lol.

Well.. I'm still watching this series. Its very carefully constructed - I suspect fans of the 4-koma are satisfied. I'm just not finding the content itself... well, it only leaves me mildly amused. Again, the similarity to Yotsuba's art style is interesting and some of the funniest moments involve their interaction with adults (teachers, principals, etc).
Not off my list... just not the first thing I reach for in the week. There's probably a hidden gremlin in my head that would prefer to be watching this production team adapting Yotsuba (and yeah, I know the author is not interested in doing an anime of Yotsuba). I'll post again after 3 or 4 more episodes if my feelings evolve.

I agree. I honestly feel like I'm doing something wrong by not being completely head over heels over this show, but I just can't seem to bring myself to laugh at the content. It's amusing don't get me wrong, but I was kinda expecting something crazy humorous and now I'm afraid I'll be destroyed by the KyoAni fans unless I can find some way to make this show as the most hilarious thing to me in recent memory.

In any case, I won't condemn you for not liking it as much. Don't let the more intolerant fans get to you. |
