The 6 Most Mind-Blowing Things Ever Discovered in Space

"It's actually really easy to think of space as boring. The planets in our own solar
system all seem to be empty rocks or balls of gas, and you find a whole lot of
nothing before you get to the next star. Meanwhile, Hollywood's most creative
minds can't get past populating the place with planets that look a whole lot like
Earth (and specifically, parts of California) featuring monsters, rapey aliens or
Muppets.

But real space is far, far stranger. You just have to know where to look to find

That planet made of diamond is new to me. If you want cool though, check out quasars, pulsars, nebulae, the life and death of a star, and the visuals behind a black hole eating up light.

Now THAT's awesome to watch. How could you think of space as "boring", ever?

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Today is Mark Twain's birthday.

P.S The banner is from Tom Sawyer, the scene where he used social engineering to trick his friends into whitewashing the fence for him - with multiple coats.

really cool in theory. Then you swim around in a pool for 36 hours, go to the
man-made lake you heard had a flooded town and discover a bunch of muddy brick
foundations. It turns out that lakes in the Midwest are about as full of adventurous
treasures as the towns around them. But, like the 28 percent of the Earth that's not
covered in water, if you pick the right spot at the right time of day, you can find stuff
down there that will blow your mind. For instance ..."
