Hmm

Since Tsubasa Chronicles have been "Licensed" by FUNimation, does it mean that the 2nd season is license too?

I would think not unless a follow up deal was made, I mean they're not just going to give away the entire second season because they have the first.

http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/8085.html has notice of the Anime Insider's report of the Tsubasa Chronicles TV, -first season in this case, but reports of no announcement from Funimation of the second season.

A Host Club anime. That might be promising. *adds it to the list of anime to watch*

I haven't seen any mentioning of Rec.
It sounds like a nice mix of romance and music.

Baldr Force Exe is another one that looks good reminds me of Gunslinger Girls.

That's probably because we're talking about spring series here, and REC will start this winter?
I'm quite excited about REC too, but the series is more about voice acting, not music.

Sprimg Wiki Up

The 2006 Spring Anime Season Wiki is now online. I've included all the series from the pukiwiki, and this wiki has synopsises, screenshots as well as the rest of the information. There are currently 42 titles listed. Cheers.

I think it would be great if you can put in genres (shoujo, senien, advanture, romance etc) for each series. Good job anyway.

If you want my help, I'll help >.< no problem

tip:
Anyway if you are going to add the target audience (shoujo, shounen, josei, seinen) you should at least know what its based on and where its serialized, and do not put the target audience according to how things look (example: ooooh this cover of the novel/manga looks so cute its so shoujo )

I'll be looking forward to:
1. ARIA the Animation 2nd Season,
2. School Rumble 2nd Semester,
3. Tsubasa Chronicles 2nd season,
Because I loved the first season of these shows.

I'll be checking out:
4. Shinigami no Ballad (I love heartwarming stories.)
5. Witch Blade (It will be interesting to see what they do with it)
6. Black Lagoon (I hope this isn't too much of a disappointment)

I'll randomly check the rest.

YUME TSUKAI

Wicked storyline(Reincarnation and six sense stuffs) with character design by Hidekazu Shimamura(Honey and Clover)

Shinigami no Ballad

Hiroyuki Horiuchi is a chief animation director in this series and the anime was already hyped for so long.

NANA -- anyone know when the live movie or the manga's is comming out of japan and can be bought for decent prices? ... untill then i'll guess i wacth this one
Soul Link -- wacthed Shuffle and liked Navels way of telling the story ... i'll guess i give it a shot

Not sure about the live movie, but the NANA manga has been licensed by Viz for a while now. They're serializing the manga in their "Shojo Beat" magazine at the moment. I think the first volume is out in tankoubun form already, for around $7.99. (is that what Viz's prices are?)

On a more on-topic note, I'm looking forward to the NANA anime as well. And Ouran Host Club, Yume Tsukai and Shinigami no Ballad. Gintama sounds interesting as well.

If anyone is looking for the long off-topic of anime genres that was here, it has been moved to its own thread: Anime Genre

Yume Tsukai seconded! I got all 6 vols of the manga a while ago and was very impressed... had been feeling sad that there weren't more of the manga made but now that they're making it into an anime I am really hyped. I can't recommend the story and inventiveness of the themes enough, though some people might feel weirded out by it... I really hope they keep the intricateness of the mangaka's designs in the final production... Mishima Touko FTW!!!!!
