Oh, and Week 1 Predictions: DAL @ NYG: Tossup (These two teams are rather closely matched on paper…) IND @ CHI: Chicago (Enter the Ugliest man alive, and his baptism by fire) PHI @ CLE: Philadelphia (And thus begins a nightmare…) STL @ DET: St. Louis (Wild pick for the first week, for the sake of it) NE @ TEN: New England (A more uncomfortable win than The Patriots would've wanted) ATL @ KC: Tossup (One perpetually mediocre team, one perpetual contender, and I don't give a fuck) JAC @ MIN: Jacksonville (Yay! It's the weekly gonk special, watch B-Gabby horrible his way to victory!) WSH @ NO: Washington (Go SuperQuarterback! Destroy the geaux!) BUF @ NYJ: Buffalo (It's going to be like the 2011 49ers went back to 2003 to kick the 2003 49ers asses and make fun of them) MIA @ HOU: Houston (And the suffering finally ends for one team) SF @ GB: Tossup (I may be a Niners fan and an Alex Smith believer, but I'll be gracious) SEA @ ARI: Arizona (And a legend begins…) CAR @ TB: Tampa Bay (One proves they're not completely pathetic after all, the other proves that they've still got a ways to go) PIT @ DEN: Denver (It won't be pretty, but Peyton will get to show how awesome he is one more time) CIN @ BAL: Cincinnati (We enter the final chapter of one legend, and the first chapter of another) SD @ OAK: Oakland (This will be a shocker) Last edited by FDW; 2012-09-05 at 22:05. |

No, my memetics demand that Andrew Luck be horrifyingly ugly, just like it demands Cam Newton to be Robocop, RGIII to be Superman, Andy Dalton to be a hot-blooded mecha pilot, Ben Roethlisberger to be voiced by Norio Wakamoto, Eli Manning to be a cloudcoukoolander, Peyton Manning to have fucking gigantic forehead, Tom Brady to be an asshole, Matt Schaub to have the delusion that he's a shell-shocked 'Nam Vet, Aaron Rodgers to be Jesus, Carson Palmer to have multiple personality disorder, and John Skelton to be a slack-jawed yokel.

I am, but I'm also considering every possibility, and most of Jags wins I projected came late in the season. |

Plus, I didn't get enough fantasy points out of this game as I hoped...

And 13 penalties, At this pace they break the record the Raiders set last year. And Cruz was of his game off game.

The first half of that game was rather disappointing, but afterward it got interesting. Romo had a clutch moment on that final third and long to Ogletree who had the game of his life. Murray came on strong in the second half as well.

I suppose a good amount of people haven't let it go. I don't think that many people are happy that he died, as that won't change anything. They probably won't participate in shining up the legacy of Modell that will be happening across the media in the next week or so. They'll probably have a moment of silence at all NFL games this weekend. Cleveland is playing the Eagles at home. They might just want to skip the "moment of silence" part in Cleveland. Could get ugly.
