Don't get me wrong tho.. I am not completely against the use of wires when they are used in a smart way (like in Jackie Chan movies or Ninja Assassin) but when they are used to the extent that they make the stunt-actor look like a puppet then thats where I would draw the line.
Wires and Green screen are a cheap alternative to CG which is why I am all for GS floors. CTHD had artsy scenery and the fights were nicely choreographed which is why I believe it received so many awards but the "running on air" sequences are the ones that bug me because of the wobbly feet syndrome. The same goes for other movies that attempt to augment the abilities of stunt actors but trust too much on wires. IMO wires would be best used when actors need to move in 90-110-70 degree angles during battles because the scene wouldn't look odd at all... but when they are used to "transport" actors horizontally while their bodies are perpendicular to the floor then that just leaves room for wobbly feet which as you correctly stated .. I dislike. Transporting actors horizontally while their bodies are parallel to the floor is a completely different matter, but unfortunately thats now how they do it in these movies... BTW.... Ninja Assassin is a great example cause they either wires or GS for those scenes where Rain was jumping from one floor to another while being pursued but u see, every movement he made while fighting came through very naturally because wires were not used in an odd way, they were mostly used in vertical motions .. so his super-human abilities were not compromised by odd sequences and wobbly feet action. THAT is how I would encourage film makers who take on super-human-martial-arts movies to use their resources; with perpendicular wire control super-human jumps would look more "natural" as far as body motion and the actors wouldn't look odd attempting to do things without physical support (such as running on air without having something to stand on)

I hope this "Bleach Hollywood Movie" is a bad rumor which people are spreading. Without even reading the thread, reviewing the pros and cons of it. I'm completing against it. Simply put, it will be a disaster. > <

history teaches us nothing Dragonball was a terrible movie beyond terrible in some respects but it made an awful lot of money everywhere but in the US it would seem. well if there's anything we can hope for it would be the following UWE BOL - Is Not Directing they take there time rather than rushing it out learn from the mistakes of dragonball Allow kubo Artistic choices with giving him big bags of cash to do it theexecutive way

Hey listen, I know Bollywood aren't exactly the best at making films but they do make some seriously good shit every now and then. Dil Chahta Hai is still one of my favourite slice of life films, despite all that ridiculous routine dancing that makes me cringe. And there was this really epic one about cricket, but i forgot it's name... [edit] Oh yeah it was called Lagaan.

Hey! I thought 50 first dates had a pretty decent story, altho I think I get ur point, its kinda hard to picture a director who works on romantic comedies doing an action movie like this one.
However I wouldn't blame the director if this things turns out to be cr@p ... after all no one can turn a horribly written source story into a work of art..

This is perfect example Hollywood running out of ideas.....Bleach will most likely be just a 50 million dollars production of crap that no one will enjoy to watch at all.... like Avatar the airbender. (actually Avatar the airbender had 150 million production budget)
