I rewatched that part and Oboro has a fast line afterwards... saying something like this :

"What the hell kind of price is that?!"

So he wasn't talking about any special power... but still... what could the price be ... well it probably nothing special... just a lot of money

^ ah well it did have the power to screech very loudly when it sensed danger maybe they brought the pet just to keep the kids happy heh (oh and also touka)

They agreed to keep it because Eruruu (or Oboro) just became it's new master ... the name thing ... that and Oboro needs its liver... you noticed the killer glitter in his eye when he was convincing Hakuoro to buy it...

Benawi did mention that it brought luck and protection. Since no one knows much about it, I bet it has really powerful magic which it will use to protect/save Aruruu someday.

@BlackCatXIII. It looks like Aruruu is the new master. She is the beastmaster, afterall, being able to talk to and understand animals. Was it ever mentioned how she had the ability to understand animals, or did she just suddenly had those skills one day?

Your guess is correct: he was stating the price of the little mikyuumu rabbit monster: you can tell when oboro flinched back he said "what the hell kind of price is that!" (very high, I'm thinking)

All the females had attached to it, and Oboro was still holding out hope for the liver, so Hakuoro agreed to pay it.

I'm not very sure, but as far i can tell, that began in episode 1 and 2. That was what i understood:

Spoiler for Story of Aruruu's powers:

Mutikapa-sama was the king of the forest and guardian of Yanayun-kami, god of the forest. In episode 1, Nuwangi destroyed the altar for Yanayun-kami, bringing the rage of Mutikapa, what started to atack the village.

In episode 2, Tsukuruu said when she was young that happened too. Her older sister, who had the power of a Kamunagi (a priestess), was given to the forest as a sacrifice in order to calm down Yamayun-kami. She became the Yaanamauna ("Mother of the Forest"), the one considered linked to the forest and protected
by the Yaanayun-kami.

The way Aruruu acted, she thought maybe Eruruu would be offered as a sacrifice, too. Remember the way she hugged Eruruu's hands. She would never allow that.

Thanks to Hakuoro and co., Mutikapa was beaten. But Aruruu was missing. Aparently, she went to the forest all by herself, maybe trying to calm down the god of the forest as the new sacrifice instead her older sister. There she found Mukkuru.

I think at that time she became the new Yaanamauna ("Mother of the Forest"), priestess of Yamayuno-kami. That's why Mukkuru - the new guardian of Yaamayuno-kami - obey her and she can understand what animals talk.

He's pretty much forced to pay for it because once the animal got a name, it would forever be bound to the person who gave it the name.

In any case... I'm kind of annoyed they put so few Kuuya scenes in. We could've used some red light district and "good in the bedroom" action ;o Not to mention how a somewhat important character was supposed to have been introduced by now. :/

funny episode no matter how you look at it. i know i dont need to say but the whole situation with Oboro and the twins was just too funny. and after much speculation on their gender i have reached my conclusion THEY DONT HAVE ONE or they are both

Eruruu was cute as usual did anyone notice how every time Hakuoro praised her skill she tail was wagging like a hundred miles per hour to match the speed of her mixing bowl i almost died. My girl Karura was drunk AGAIN and she was totally hitting on Hakuoro she is so funny i have enjoyed the series more every since she joined the cast. Should guessed that Hakuoro's little masked visitor was a girl Hakuoro attracts women like a pot head to taco bell at 2am.

I am not sure if i heard right but the guy that comes and gets Hakuoro did she say he was also an Evinkuruga?

Next episode looks good seems like Hakuoro and the rest of the gang are either helping are starting a revloution in the country where she came from. IT would make sense if she was slave there must be more like her she would want to go back and save them she might have asked Hakuoro for help

Seeing Touka's cute feminine side was win. Her expressions were all priceless. Drunken Karura hitting on Hakuoro was also awesome.

No wonder she thinks Hakuoro is also Jewish, who else can appear suddenly making barren mountainous desert fertile, overthrow the local kleptocracy and own invading countries much larger than itself

I'm not curtain about the twins’ gender but I think they are male. So that makes any guys that have thought dirty things about them gay too, but which is nothing to be ashamed of since even my entire flight of basics was heard singing "It's raining men" while showering in the bathroom together .

I admit, I really like Touka quite a bit more now, after this episode. She was very cute in some scenes.

I think dopey-looking wing ears = Evinkuruga.

Hakuoro thought Genjimaru was an Evinkuruga, Kuuya didn't contradict him, so I guess he is an Evinkuruga.

I've only played the minigame, but Genjimaru seems to be an upgraded version of Touka.

Erm I think he was whispering the price of Gacha to them; doh, I'm late. Anyhow smart really; let someone name it; then conveniently choose that moment to drop the info that the one who named it would be its master for life, Hakuoro was trapped nicely.

Genchimaru is an Evinkuruga.. how he was so insistent on protecting Kuuya is really similiar to how Touka was also so insistent on protecting Hakuoro at the earlier part of the episode. So if both of them get married (I was getting those vibes from Kuuya); that would be pretty cool... TWO Evinkurugas protecting your family.

Thanks Xellos-_^ and PGilis for the clarification concerning Aruruu's power origins. For some reason, I feel like Carbuncle is another one of those really powerful mystical beasts, like Mukura. Imagine Aruruu's building her own powerful army of beasts to kick anyone who wants to hurt Daddy.

Whats Carbuncle??? Gacha?

Aruruu the cute beastmaster + army of invincible beasts = WIN! You know, with Gacha she as good as has an army. Mukuru = owns Land units. I imagine Gacha = owns Sea and Air units.
