13 was interesting there is obviously someone pulling strings from the shadows. It seems for the first time in months between his assassination missions and hi routine banging of Claudia afterwards for once Zwei is going to tread lightly.

I also found it interesting that Cal seems to be very talented at fixing things or working with mechanics. This kind of talent can be honed into all types of useful skills such bomb making or outfitting weaponry. It will be interesting to see if Zwei will train her and bring her into the life that he himself so much hates. If that happens i pray to zeus that dont call her Drei

She's quite streetwise and knows how to play her cards. I guess this is a necessity if you want to survive alone in this environment.

I felt the two episodes ended a bit too fast. Probably because I missed the action and it's just talks and a little gun clatter. But the plot is always amusing, Cal looks like the type that doesn't flinch to violence(Kinda like a mini Sai like personality from Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro) so she'll make an exceptional assassin.

That's just REALLY weird to me.

Adrenaline can do amazing things to you... I think it was more the position she was holding the bag to pour it out made it look like she was weak. Really, I might be an oversight by the animators. She did sort of struggle holding the bag by her toes. If she really was that strong, she would have yanked the bag with her toes and toss it towards her instead of dropping it.

I noticed something while researching all this again. At the end of episode 12, Reiji forshadowed coming events by saying that he will "screw up people's lives." I think this a direct hint to what he is doing with Cal.

While I don't think Reiji will become the champion of justice anytime soon, the least I can think of him 'screwing with' is Inferno. It's going to be interesting when he takes that route. Him dominating the small fries of the underworld is the easy part. Now on the the hard part.

I'm not exactly happy about that because first opening was great and it fitted perfectly with the show. I also don't like ali project's songs generally(Op in Rozen maiden was ok). Well... I guess it's too soon to judge yet but I don't have great expectations either.

As for Reiji getting "killed" in RL, uhh, Reiji is too much of an asset to their group, so no point in killing him for a trivial matter like that at this point. If he can continue to perform, then let him do it, as long as it doesn't get too outta hand

Assuming that it really was eren who killed the people (on the roof top) and Judy...and assuming Reiji trains Cal well, and she becomes an assassin like him...do you think one day it might come to some sorta show down where Cal is about to kill Eren, but Reiji just finds out that fact, and tries to stop Cal, and there's this whole struggle? maybees? Probably too simple for my taste (to like the plot)...but im really confused as to where this is gonna go, how eren is going to play her role and what not. (And what she'll be like after these 2 years)

Haha, that's true. But if Reiji wasn't an asset, he would have been blown away before he had even touched the meeting door. =P

And your scenario seems plausible; it's just that Reiji would more than likely be the one getting killed if such an event occurs. He hasn't mentally cleansed himself of all of his feelings like most Inferno members so he wouldn't let either of them kill each other, my guess is that he would die during the crossfire or trying to protect them both.

While I don't want that to happen, if it does, I at least hope Inferno gets destroyed.

Cal doesn't only have a peculiar taste in cooking, but also in clothing!

Cal's famous burger stew was a success, but the skirt she chose - tasteful with the skull and crossed bones emblem ^_^;

Storywise, it may not seem like it for people without game knowledge (they took their time with scenic shots of Las Vegas - the Bellagio, the Strip with New York, New York, Paris, Ballys, Harrahs... the frontal view of Ceasar's Palace... nicely done for an old Vegas fan like me). But they're almost hurrying along. Next episode will be VERY action-laden.

Oh, and interesting new battlehymn in the end.

Whoa! Fast development, much? I loved every aspect of this episode, including the shopping trip. I didn't expect Elen to show up again so soon. Although I did expect Cal to be another Reiji for shooting talent. Great stuff.

Cal and Reiji interaction were really cute that it started to shake my coupling foundation. Well I guess her VA really help here. It's nice to see Reiji to gradually open up to Cal.

Well well I guess Claudia did play alittle bit around (don't worry girl you're still one of my favourite character) too bad Reiji didn't saw it .

Love that Bgm that they use when Reiji and Cal go shopping. Cal is one smart girl that's one point of her. I also like how they showed some guilt conscience from Lizzie. Love the flashback that they used on Elen and guess what Cal is really talented on using the gun.

last part is the best you could realy feel the adrenaline rushing to see who she is and what gonna happen next

Next episode gonna be one helluva of a ride and might be continue by another and another since all the pieces is set and ready to go

@Nightwing -- My preference for Elen is unshaken. I even like her seiyuu better, this time around (Takagaki Ayahi, as opposed to how Sawashiro Miyuki is playing Cal). They are both among my favorite seiyuus, however.

Spoiler for speculation about Cal:

Cal seems even more dangerous than Elen, to me. I feel as if there is something not quite right there. If that turns out to actually be true, then I'll have to revise my opinion of Miyukicchi's voice-acting work upward. There's something in her voice that is making me uneasy.
