The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to discuss all things George related.
To keep the discussion enjoyable for all Umineko no Naku Koro ni fans, please follow the guidelines below and stay on-topic!

I always thought that George was only a little above average when it came to weight... meh, either way, he's not supposed to be a bishounen. Other than that, I don't really have much else to say about George... ^^;

Actually, now that I think about it, all the characters in the VN are considerably fatter than their anime counterparts. Guess that tells us something about the modern ideal of the body....

The manga had it correct for George IMO. In terms of body builds, they didn't get George, Battler, and Kanon.

Anyway, to keep the discussion to George, maybe they'll start to appreciate him by next episode? If not, then the next Episode.

Well I must say that George in this anime isn't really a "bishonen" as I feared, but still him being almost as tall as Battler doesn't make sense, because a person that tall in Japan would stand out, and George is supposed to be average.

Not only that, Battler also confirms in the VN that he is actually 10cm taller than George. Therefore, George should be 1m70 tall which definitely follows the "average" image he is supposed to have.

George finally gets a promotional picture. Not sure where else it's going, but so far it's just seen on the website (the Flash intro).

This is the revenge for the missing on the CD cover! Though Shanon's boobs are really huge I mean come on *rollz eyes* not as well done as the one before but nice. Thoguht the other Shannon picture looks strange and scares me.

Considering the general style of the VN art, is he REALLY supposed to be that fat? After seeing the bottom half of this sprite, I was surprised his legs were so skinny!

well people generaly assume he's chubby based on the descriptions. Shannon said something about him inheriting Hideyoshi's genes, no clue what else she could be refferring to.

chara sprites are not a good reference, for example Battler is supposed to be generaly well-built and high and IMO his sprites looks short and fat so yeah.

That he could gain weight fast or that he has a really round face.
