I liked Episode 16, this whole story arc is great with it's focus on Grey, also liked Loli Erza, in the flash back. Also I came to a realization this episode, that this is one of the few series, where I like the background music more then the opening and ending music, is the soundtrack available yet, or just opening and ending singles?

the fairy tail ost is available, lots of epic tracks in my opinion

i really hope that they don't do a filler episode after this arc, i mean i loved how phantom lord arc started immediatly after deliora's arc

now let's wait for episode 17!

I don't see any reason to add filler so early, my guess would be a long-running filler arc only after the Tower arc, perhaps even the one after that.

hahaha was totally waiting for that scene, was absolutely great!

Ep was great overall, liked the part where they celebrating and Erza pops up, then the 3 close up and piano kicking in

Whoa ep17 was fantastic with many unexpected twists. Though I was hoping some epic fight of deloira vs fairy tail.

Hmm could Zalty be a good guy after all as well?Maybe he wanted to restore deloira to free Ul from being stuck there forever? Or did he knew it was dead and wanted to kill it?

I'm going to guess on Zalty being bad for now. I mean the guy is using forbidden magic so he's already down that road. Plus find it hard to believe he faked that crazy wanting Deliora's power thing. Too bad he was knocked out since we didn't get his reaction to Deliora being dead. He talked to Natsu like he thought Lyon would be fighting Deliora thus assuming the thing would be alive.

amazing episode, loved the kyahh~ part

next episode they'll explain zalty, people aren't going to expect the truth about zalty

i'm crossing my fingers that next episode will have as cliffhanger the begining of the next arc like the manga

Best Moment of ep.17 --- Erza falling into the pitfall "Kya!"
Second best moment --- Lucy afraid of what erza might do to her "watashi no sei janai! watashi no sei janai"

Third best moment --- Ul rocks!!!!

Next episode is gonna be fun, especially after they return to Fairy Tail ---- cliffhanger!!!!

Shiroth Beautiful fighter. Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: England, UK Age: 37	Spoiler for Episode 17: Decent episode. Quite surprised with how much material they fit into this episode, and the pacing was good. Easily the best part of the episode, and i'm so glad they animated it, is when Erza falls down the trap hole with a "Kyaa!" . Gray is right, it is adorable, and it worked so better animated. Guess i was shocked when reading the manga that Ul's ice was killing the beast over these many years, and i love it even more that Ul did in fact take care of Gray's darkness. Very touching moment there, with the perfect choice of music. Speaking of music, i really like the piano version of the main theme we heard. Want to hear more of that. So next weeks episode is the take down of the moon, and i guess we'll find out in next weeks preview if we'll go straight to the next arc, or if we'll see some filler. __________________ MyAnimeList Twitter

FlareKnight User of the "Fast Draw" Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Canada	Spoiler for Ep17: Yeah that was definitely one of the best episodes they've done for the emotional value in it. A really nice way to handle Deliora. In the end the victory goes to Ul who really did what she planned in sealing away Gray's darkness. She made sure no matter what that Deliora wouldn't hurt anyone again. It took everything and time, but she did it. Maybe you can compare it to the demon last arc in not being a threat, but this was fitting. Having the group fight and beat Deliora which was the only option other than Gray sealing it wouldn't have felt right. Ul made a decision to stop Deliora and she did. Some pretty fun moments like Erza falling into the trap. I could feel Lucy's terror at that moment . Plus that was a great reaction from Erza. Goes to show those who put down Lucy's trap didn't know what they were talking about. It's pretty damn effective . Pretty nice overall. Next week should probably wrap this up. Gotta love Erza deciding to take down the moon. Since let's face it when Erza says it you have to believe it'll happen. __________________ Anime-Evo

Spoiler for Many many chapters ahead: Didn't Leon say "Haven't you heard of Lamia Scale" in his intro episode? Why is Gray telling him to go join a guild? Erza wanting to destroy the moon after falling into a primitive trap? I think she's getting full of herself, she's not Piccolo

She understands the people who want to revive Deliora and defeat it once again. "They've their own justice". Really like that line. - Ulu's ice has actually been sapping Deliora's lifeforce over so many years. Didn't expect that either! - and Erza declaring she's gonna destroy the moon!
