Yes. That was Terumi as a child with his mother.

With such a beautiful mother, no wonder Terumi has a mother complex(well Asian mothers do look like they don't age much anyhow). I mean, he must have been 3 or 4 years old in that picture and he still sleeps with his mother. Then there was the time he snuggled into his elementary school teacher's breasts like they were pillows.

But isn't it strange? Back in chapter 38, Terumi mentioned he didn't have a mother. Does it mean Terumi's mother died young and cannot remember her until now or was that woman in that flashback was Terumi's father's girlfriend.

I'm pretty sure that his mother. He only saw his father's girlfriend when they moved to their home and he was kicked since their apartment is too small for the three of them and he is expecting a new child.

Call me crazy or dumb etc. But won't this technically be a foreshadow for a possible NTR? Think about it - Terumi has a mommy complex and his dad has a new wife... That was talked about early in this thread, something about Kaoruko hating her brother so she has Terumi target his new mom. I don't know if its in the Genji storyline though.

It actually is, Genji's real mother died when he was 3 years old and she was a concubine of his father. Later, his father married a woman named Lady Fujitsubo who resembled his old concubine. At first Genji loved her like a mother and eventually loved her as a woman. Lady Fujitsubo actually reciprocated Genji feelings for her, both induldge each other in pleasure despite it being forbidden. They had some complications of course, Genji's wife Aoi no Ue felt very well...you know

Oh and by the way, Ludy Fujitsubo was suppose to be the first women of the 14.
