Majimoji Rurumo
New anime based on Watanabe Wataru's (Yowamushi Pedal) earlier manga. Premieres in July, JC Staff.
I haven't read this one, but more exposure for Watanabe is certainly a positive thing. Certainly looks like a major change from Yowapeda.

Here's more info from the link:
The June issue ofMonthly Shōnen Siriusmagazine is announcing on Saturday that a television anime adaptation ofWataru Watanabe'sMagimogi Rurumomanga has been green-lit. The anime will adapt the firstMagimogi Rurumomanga series. The "magical slapstick comedy" begins with Kōta Shibaki (the #1 pervert of his school) and some magical tickets that suddenly arrive for him. Rurumo, an apprentice witch who was demoted from a full witch, is training with these tickets in the human world. Shibaki can use these tickets to grant wishes that Rurumo must perform as part of her training. The catch is that each used ticket shortens Shibaki's life. Chikara Sakurai(Little Busters!,Waiting in the Summer,Naruto) is directing the anime atJ.C. Staff(A Certain Scientific Railgun S,Little Busters!,Witch Craft Works). Mariko Kunisawa(Hatsukoi Limited,Squid Girl,A Certain Scientific Railgun,A town where you live) is writing the scripts. Kazunori Iwakura(Ai Yori Aoshi,Sky Girls,Aria the Scarlet Ammo,Little Busters! Refrain) is designing the characters. Satoshi Motoyama(From the New World,Senki Zesshō Symphogear G,Little Busters!) is directing the sound. The television anime will premiere this July. Watanabe launched the manga in Monthly Shōnen Siriusin 2007, before he started the bicyling manga Yowapeda. The first seven-volume Magimogi Rurumo series ended in 2011, and Watanabe then serialized the four-volume Magimogi Rurumo: Makai-hen(Magimogi Rurumo: Magic World) series from 2011 to 2013 in the same magazine. The latest series,Magimogi Rurumo: Hōkago no Mahō Chugakusei(Magimogi Rurumo: Afterschool Magic Middle School Student), debuted in Monthly Shonen Sirius last June. Like Magimogi Rurumo, Watanabe's Yowapeda manga inspired an ongoing television anime.

Looks like a promising ecchi comedy, if Mimori Suzuko is as perfect as I expect she could be. The manga looks pretty funny, with droll bits as well as broader humour. First broadcast Wednesday night Japan time. Wednesday late afternoon in Europe, Wednesday morning in North America.
Here's a characters/seiyuus page, with pics of the main characters and their seiyuus, and a bit of info about each seiyuu.

Hmm. That was not as bad as I thought as it was going to be. Nothing spectacular, mind you, but not mind numbingly idiotic either.
I kinda have a soft spot in my heart for emotionless characters slowly gaining emotions and becoming more "normal" human beings, so the female lead may have the cards stacked in her favor in my case. By the way the ED was very charming (umm... no pun intended) and even a little "d'aawww...." evoking. Well then, I will give ep 2 a try as well.

Although he is still writing this one.
I agree, it feels (and looks) old-fashioned though not necessarily in a bad way. The way it strikes me as this - Majimoji Rurumo feels like a series Watanabe wrote hoping to get a serialization. Yowapeda feels like a a series he wrote because he loves the subject matter and wanted to write about it. This series is clearly the product of a good writer, but it doesn't have the passion of Yowamushi Pedal.

This was a weird one.
Guess it's good for occasional fun. The main character is totally a perv. That little witch was just right for him. She's probably the only girl he'd be able to get anyway. It's fun but I'm skipping it.

That was a pretty good first episode. It's most certainly ecchi but at the very least it has some heart and funny moments too. The animation feels old school but I will say I'm digging the extravagant art style make's it different. Kouta clearly is a perv but it is strange the entire school is going against him like some King of Porn when clearly he does have the heart to know when to stop playing around. His a good guy he just sometimes can't resist. Rurumo is so cute I mean seriously cutest witch to date hands down. Other then that I've enjoyed this episode and will continue watching this one for the other hijinks the duo will face.

That was pretty nice. Some solid comedy, but certainly helped that the MC and Rurumo are both pretty likable.
Certainly quite the internal conflict there. Using the tickets will get Rurumo back her qualifications, but also kill him. I suppose that's to be expected. Since the issue was her not killing him, the punishment will make sure he is killed this time. Considering she can live so long I suppose the ideal would be to just not use up the tickets until he's on his death bed anyways...but little comedy in that .
