Spoiler for Spoilers for the books:

LSH brotherhood is definitely different, but they are a group driven by vengeance now (killing the Frays) rather than the robin hood style group they were before. This development to me makes sense, but them just killing a bunch of innocent civilians unaffiliated with the Frays or the Lannisters is just way too over the top for me.

Ugh, i'm getting pretty tired of reading and hearing about Lady Mormont, yes, her actress put on a great performance and yes that scene was great but what the hell is it with sites overblowing her scene and making her out to be in the level of Dany, as if she is some great hero that this series needed?

She is way better than Dany.
The only things she lacks are main char's luck and plot armor.

I have grown disgruntled with the media that seems hellbent on pushing a narrative in which there is a conspiracy among every writers of the world who agreed to not let little and grown girls have role models. I have seen it with Ghostbusters 2016 (like, uh no? How about this reboot is soulless?) or even in the lastest all-men Final Fantasy (when you'd think that it'd make all the yaoi fangirls happy!). Prediction time:

No Clegane bowl, Ser Frankenmountain will face a converted Ser Loras at the trial.

Benjen is working for the Night's King and once Bran crosses the wall, NK will do that neat hand on the ground things go boom trick and the wall will crumble.

Brienne will fight Jaime.

The reason they didn't mention Cersei's Valonkar bit of her prophecy is because someone else is going to off her.

^I do expect the Wall to fall, and I'm hoping it'll be this season (finale). The series is in too much of a holding pattern, so something truly massive has to occur in order to get everyone off their asses and pointed north.

That being said, my only real prediction/expectation for this season are Tommen and Ramsay dying by the end. (I'm also kind of hoping that Dorne will become a secret staging ground for the Others, Which is why it hasn't been featured since the first episode. )

Isn't Dorne like, super far south? I figured they haven't been featured because they realized fans were hating the Dorne plot line.

For the wall, it'll definitely fall. It's just a matter of whether Bran willingly crosses the wall or if the Night King captures him and throws him across the wall. Either way, it'll happen.

We also know Tommen will die at some point, and I expect it to be soon.

I don't even know if the wall crumbling would get southerners off their asses at this point.

Maybe a dragon flying overhead in King's Landing will get those people to wake up from their navel gazing but IMHO, it will have to be something massive like snow falling from the wall all the way down to Dorne.

This medieval world already has more females in positions of power probably than the real, modern world, on average. Great female characters like Margery and absolutely ridiculous ones like Brienne and this new Mormont girl. Why any sane viewer would have even the smallest desire to see more females shoehorned into traditionally male roles solely for girl power points is just beyond me.

I have a bachelor's in history, been to several historical sites, listen to historical podcasts during my free time, have been voraciously reading about history as one of my main hobbies since I was 14 years old. No, I've done plenty of research. What sort of research is involved in thinking it's ridiculous that a woman who uses heavy armor and a long iron sword overpowering entire groups of men? What sort of research is involved in having some sort of fleeting and realistic awareness that rule by children as young as 12 ALWAYS had a regent in power, never outright leaders making dramatic speeches like we saw with Mormont? Give me one example in world history of a 12 year old leading so directly like that without a regent.

If you're referring to the modern world part, that was hyperbole by me. My point is this show constantly feels like it's trying to balance modern tastes of equality while portraying a "medieval-style" world. You can't have it both ways, and people like me who actually have done research notice that it's ridiculous.

Actually that's not a lot. That's the all star lineup from all across the world and selected from different points in history. Besides, the characters I criticized were based on ridiculous physical feats and age, not ability to rule. My favorite female characters on this show are Margery and her grandma (and Arya to a lesser extent). They are both genius political manipulators. So how does giving me a list of some of the few prolific female rulers in world history even contribute to this discussion? Explain to me the relevance of your posting that.
