If she were to go to school everyday with her bangs down, we'd start to miss the hairband. Or at least I would. Still mixing it up a bit would be good. So maybe one some days, she can have her bangs down.

Huh, I totally thought she was Yui in the first shot of her with her bangs down -_-^ Nah it wouldn't work, her hairband and large forehead are her distinctive qualities.

And Azunyan #2... I guess Azusa really likes her nickname.
Ritsu with her bang down was a surprise; I didn't think it would've changed her atmosphere so much. Though I liked it, it was... very un-Ritsu like.

Overall, it was an ok episode. I can even say it was one of more boring episode of the series. I am a bit down that this will the last time I'll see Mio and co animated, though I'm sure there will be enough doujins to be sick of them during upcoming C76.

This was my favorite episode. I didn't know why at first, but one of the guys over on the facepunch anime forum suggested that it was because it was the only episode with conflict.

That might be it, I don't know =w= The artistic direction of the whole episode had me in love. Great episode! My favorite easily!

I wonder how long will it take before we get a second season. The anime has almost caught up with the manga. So, taking into account K-On! is released monthly, perhaps 2 years from now?

The anime ended around the January 2009 issue, and the girls are halfway through their second year. It took kakifly roughly two years to build up that amount of material so your estimation is quite accurate...

Damn this just hit me hard... I won't see K-on again until 2 year's ish from now.

overall what can I say, what an amazing anime (in general). especially this episode was awesome. I sincerely hope 2nd season is going to come out.

Relatively sweet and charming to the end... not a blockbuster or paradigm shifter - just rather pleasant throughout. Some OVAs would definitely be happily accepted.
