Here's that notation I promised and the MIDI file for the drums, hopefully you can make head or tails out of it

The notation itself looks fine though, though I can't speak much on this since I don't play drums xDD I'm playing keyboard for the cover. If it's too much trouble to make a new notation, could you post just the midi? |

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=59SF85GJ It's my first tab (well, not MINE but I redid everything in Notepad, so to some extent, it sort of is ..), so sorry if it isn't up to standards with other tabs. I'll be sure to do the other songs in that ZIP as well (maybe not bass though, sorry bassists - noob tabber here). (: EDIT - What horrible freaking timing. My laptop crashed and I had to format it, so I lost all my stuff. I can't believe I didn't have a freaking USB Drive on me, even though I have like a trillion blank CD's and DVD's .. >_< Last edited by EGFontanilla; 2009-08-27 at 02:46. |

@Rexgt - You're looking for a song off of the OST? I'm not sure this is the right place to ask... But I'm not sure where else to ask either ~ This thread is for people who want to know how to play K-ON! songs on an instrument. I'd help you if I could but I don't know what the song is .___. . If it matters to anyone, I'm going to be doing my own bass covers of "the three" K-ON! songs: Cagayake! Girls, Don't Say Lazy, and my favorite: Fuwa Fuwa Time. All that's left to do is figure out the rest of Cagayake! Girls (the bass solo and bridge kill me).

I've honestly got no clue as to what you're referring to, sorry ^_^; If it's any help, my camera records in MP4, and then it's directly to YouTube.
I think I just might be doing all three today if I'm feelin' up to it. Hittin' the showers now, then I'm going to have me a bass day. I'll post links to the vids if I do in fact cover those three. |

He's saying if you recorded it directly through something like Audacity or garage band, then you could send him the .wav or .mp3 files for him to add drums too haha.
A score book would be amazing, I've been playing Cagayake! Girls all day, but I can't remember all of it, I get about to the bridge and I fall apart haha. The slapping is also giving me some trouble, but I'm getting better at it. |

Yeah, I was going to do those K-ON! covers today...about that...
I kinda couldn't find the right tone I wanted and am further postponing them XD Instead, I recorded a bunch of other stuff... Red Hot Chili Peppers -- Tell Me Baby (try that for slap, Splitpersonality. It's a very fun slap ) The Who -- Boris the Spider, Pinball Wizard, My Generation The Beatles -- Helter Skelter If any of you want those covers when they're up, I'll post 'em here if you want me to, or just send me a PM. It'll take awhile to get 'em all up. Right now my camera needs a recharging before I record some more before the daylight is completely gone. |

I'm learning some YYZ right now, maybe I'll learn some RHCP someday, I've been meaning to but then I fell out of love with american music, and in love with japanese and anime music, so maybe eventually haha.
What kinda bass you playing? |

I'm working on the whole band presentation of K-on on my Sibelius 3, but it's just baffling that I can't seem to get the exact synth effects on Mugi's parts on Don't Say Lazy. All I know is that there are three synth effects on the whole song.
I got 2 voices, tabs for Yui's part (which i got here, btw), 3 staves for Mugi's three synth effects, and a percussion staff for Ritsu. I figured out Ritsu's part on my own, but not sure if I got it right. :P Mio's bass tabs are completely blank. :x Any ideas which effects were used by Mugi-chan back there on the song?
