A possible correction. If "Chris" or "Kris" refers to the bunny, I think that clarifies things a little bit. Vivio's line would become "When Mom comes back, report this to her," to which the bunny replies "Yes!".

BetrayerS is a doujin drawn and written by Himura Kiseki, a doujin-ka more widely known for his Archer-ko materials. Alas, the doujin is a one-parter, with no continuation slated in the near future.

Ah, that would explain what Hayate meant by "being pedantic." Librarian Girl Vivio is properly telling her mother about all the new things she learned today!

(I think that pic may well be the first recorded instance of anybody sekuhara-ing Hayate! Talk about a "FOR THE EMPRESS!!!!" moment.
