I'm sort of unpredictable, a great example of this is Madoka Magica

When the series was airing, I was so impatient that I watched the livestream of the airing in Japan because even waiting for raws felt too long, so you'd think this would mean I'd jump on the first camrip of the movie but nope i'm avoiding spoilers and waiting for the BD release

Justification for my choice: I prefer watching something in an acceptable quality that I can understand reasonably well. A high quality means being able to produce high quality screenshots and discussions for my use elsewhere.

Quality: I am working on a multiple years backlog anyway. I can wait until a series finishes and pick the best source. Speed is not important.

I'll take speed usually, I'm lazy and impatient. Plus I started watching anime in a time where if they came out now, the quality would be called terrible, so I can look past animation issues easily.

For me it entirely depends on the series to be honest....

But for archiving I always go for highest quality whenever possible.

I tend to vary a lot, because I don't posses the understanding of the language to notice the difference between most sub groups unless they are trolls. It does depend though if I'm doing backlog or following several shows in a season. Right now I'm in a lull, so I'm focusing on quality. Otherwise, especially if it's a action-heavy series, speed all the way.

Since I have a lot on my plate often, I want to watch things that I want to quickly and without much of a hassle. As of late, I've been watching the raws of some of the shows I'm into then going back later for the subs to see if my attempt of decoding Japanese to be somewhat correct.

Can wait for at least one week or more before getting a new episode. I have other things to do anyway.
