About the cellphones, it’s strange in a sense, because I wouldn’t have noticed it in the first place if they didn’t go to the great lengths of letting us know that they actually own a one... if you know what i mean...

I find myself somewhat in the same boat - I'm rooting for Minorin, though I know I'm not "supposed" to. Some of that, I admit, comes from my relative appreciation for the two voice actresses - I adore Horie Yui, and I'm just hearing Louise and Shana from Taiga - to me they're all indentical.

Because I think it's very obvious even to a non- Toradora manga reader (which I am, thus no spoiler tags) that Taiga is supposed to be the destined pairing. A beauty & the beast variation, more like "Beast & the Beast". I would dearly love to be surprised, though I certainly don't expect that to happen.

For me, Inko is totally unnecessary so far in the story. He's not even really funny, except for the first time I saw him, which elicited a WTFLOL but that was all.

To me, Inko's role is very clearly defined. I see him as an indication of Ryuuji's personality. To see that Ryuuji dotes on a bird that nearly everyone would avoid is to understand how he can come to be friends with a girl who nearly everyone at school avoids. To me, Ryuuji's feelings for Inko are a reflection of his growing feelings for Taiga.
