So we have a catgirl now, although who or what she exactly is doesn't seem to have any revelation yet. Well I'm not too surprised to see one in the series, since if the SSes are of any indication then we already had our first humanoid non-human being in the series. This might help figure some logic on why there's so much connection between Touma, IB and dragons...

I guess Kamachi has started unleashing the existence of mythical creatures card in the Index universe... Already. So, the story begins? Let's play.

After another talk Touma goes back to try and rescue Index, and the mage agrees to help.

Index was captured, and the girl with a whip grumbles how Index didn't resist as she can then just kill Index to save the hassle.
As Index is taken away she leaves sigils on the ground, and the mage can decode it as they move along to find where Index is.

Touma used himself as bait, and the mage went to rescue Index. Index's handcuffs are modified, and chained the mage as she got close. depending on how hard they resist sleeping gas may be released from the cuffs to stop them.

Touma fought the girl with the whip, and ends in the usual manner of speech -> right fist in face KO. And got whipped in the face in the process.

Touma took the key from the girl and tried to rescue Index and the mage. He got caught in the trap and chained up with the other two, and Index started to bite him.

The girl was left alone after KO, and her sources told her the samples made on Earth was destroyed. Her plans was hijack a Academy City shuttle, go to Mars and retrieve the microbes there.
In the end it turns out she wants to bring the rest of her kind to Earth from Mars, and she sighed how far away Mars is from her and how hard it is to go back.

Whut.....if the magic aliens are going to be a major player in the TAMNI cosmology...

Lets take a step back people, it's more likely those are just accessories rather than the real McCoy.

I side with Kenju. I think I'd be really frustrated if Mikoto came into the main storyline of Index. :/

And yes, I stopped lurking because NT2 came out and I wanted spoilers. So, is the party at Touma's apartment a celebration for the founding of the Kamijou Faction or something?
