Jan-Poo, it's Kyrie's ~female intuition~, duh. All women gain it once they hit puberty.

Yeah it sure isn't develloped very much but the narator in the VN says that Rudolf always follow the intuition of his wife (Which saved him several times apparamently^^)

She did sense the ambush in the anime.

Smart move, since she can probably kick his tail.

Although he remarks in EP 2 that he somewhat views her chessboard turning and intuition as an 'accurate fortune cookie' :P Still, it did help him in business apparently.

Yeah but she only is saying:
"I have a bad feeling about this, there is an ambush ahead"
Rudolf: "Okay let's go through the back door!"
This part is coherent since it was the perfect place to make an ambush.

But they succeed to get rid of a pair of girls, but they can't handle another one with 2 gun and no one ahead?
After it can be a question of loading, but I think each of them fired 3 bullet, so they got 2 others each.
Like they said, they can shoot Maids, but not Bunny girls? it is pretty not clear why they ran away...

Rudolf and Kyrie both fired a bullet at the stakes the first time they appeared.
Rudolf shot at least two bullets after that at Belphegor and then a third one to kill her. He only had one shot left.
Kyrie is only seen firing twice with her gun after the first time, so when she comes she only has two rounds left.

So Rudolf only has one shot and Kyrie has two shots. Together they can fire at them three times before having no more ammunition.

Besides, it's not like they didn't try to run originally from the stakes so :P

Really strong episode; my only complaint was that Hideyoshi's Eva-Beato smackdown lost a lot of emotion in anime format. That part of the VN had me teary, and Hideyoshi's feelings weren't conveyed nearly enough in this episode. Other than that, awesome! Kyrie's fight was obviously the highlight, and although Rudolf's Western shootout was a bit shafted, it worked how they cut it, so it was fine. And all that game music was a delight to hear!

Obviously, Kyrie knew that Rudolf wouldn't be able to control himself in front of bunny girls, so she decided to establish a distance between him and the siestas.

I think they were both out of bullets. (Edit: Maybe not, but definitely low on ammunition.)

After today's episode I honestly say that I'm not too fond of the Siestas. Seem like a random excuse to throw Japanese fetishes into the series. I'd much rather the Stakes remain there.

Anyway, it's interesting to find out that the whole reason Beato started this game in the first place was to get Battler to acknowledge she was a witch.

And she seemed very upset when Battler refused to accociate with her any longer, which is kind of unexpected given her personality up to this point.

All in all, the Siestas were the only exasperating thing about this episode.

Siestas are considered to be higher leveled furniture as opposed to the Stakes, as they had a more accurate kill that is said to never miss it's target.

And is it really interesting. Hasn't starting up the game to make Battler acknowledge her been the very reason she started this game since Episode I-V?

Wow I have to say Evatrice's super powerful furniture isn't all that impressive. Visually it looked great and wasn't a bad attack. I just mean they have to combine forces to shoot arrows? Plus it seems to require quite a bit of prep time. The stake sisters could turn into flying stakes and impale people. I'd go with the crazy stake girls. Of course not wanting to die maybe it'd be better to go with the bunnies. While they are going through their calculations just headshot them and it's a win . I don't get why they ran. At least take a shot to see if it works.

Weird might have actually gotten attached to those stakes after all this time. Probably some sympathy since they did get beaten. Anyways was pretty nice to see people with firearms actually winning. I've felt a little bad for those guns since they've only taken down some goatmen at this point. Rudolf and Kyrie put up a great fight and made it pretty interesting to watch. Wouldn't have expected such a past in regards to Kyrie. Having the guy she liked stolen and the stillborn child.

No surprise in regards to the anger of Battler. Agree that the approach Beato has been taking wasn't going to work. Going about it the way she has will just force Battler to dig in his heels and put up an even more determined resistance. Will see how the apology goes next episode.

Well that's all well and good, it's just the way they look and the way they act that make me facepalm. Walking fetishes those two are.

And I always thought this was just a argument to prove whether magic is real or not, I never considered Beato specificlly wanted Battler to acknowledge her as a witch.
