Preliminary rule

1) Rashi(ASCII flood) is forbidden, because of the high load of the servers.

2) 1st~8th go to the main tournament and 9th~32nd goto the 2nd prelims in the 1st prelims.

3) 1st~16th go to the main tournament in the 2nd prelims.

4) You can vote 10 characters at a time in the 1st prelims, and 6 characters in the 2nd prelims.

May I make a general request regarding posts concerning this tournament on AnimeSuki? I've been noticing more and more SaiMoe-related posts popping up on various threads. This same thing happened last year, and as a result (if you recall), new rules were put into place to govern posting regarding the tournament. You can see those here. In particular, "keep all Anime Saimoe Tournament posts, campaigns, character information, voting links, etc., within this thread only or in your signature". Obviously I'm in no position to tell anyone what to do, but I'd like to humbly request that everyone consider following those same guidelines again this year.

I have absolutely new problem with the tournament; I think it's great people get to vote on their favourites, and am eager to see the results! But, at the same time, I do think having SaiMoe posts all over the forum tends to derail the various threads. I just figured I'd make the request before the tournament kicks into high gear.

I think it should be "no posts, campaigns, character information, voting links, etc., about Anime Saimoe Tournament to other threads except your avatar or signatur", and I want this thread to be where you can express how much you are in moe with the characters with some stuff, for example pics, etc. if moderators allow.

Go to the code generator and reserve a code. You have to wait at most 2 hours(possibly it might be longer). After that, reload the page and get a code like [[AT0000-animemoe-07]]. Then post <<character name＠series>> with the code in the voting thread during 01:00:00~23:00:59 JST like this.

You have to write it with right Japanese, so it would be easy to copy and paste it from the list. The voting thread title is like "アニメ最萌トーナメント2007　投票スレ　RoundXX", and you can search the thread in this page for the prelims and this page for the main tournament by the key word "Round". Finally, you are strongly recommended to attach the words how you are in moe with that character or something like that.

To clarify, you can comment in English, even just a few words are good enough. Basically, it's to show your post isn't bot-generated. "Attaching" simply means "write on the same post as the votes".

I've been gearing up for the start of this year's tournament, and I still cannot believe some of the characters that people bothered to qualify.

It's hard to feel a lot of moé for characters whose description is "the girl who..."

Here are my choices for Group 1 (not in order of preference), and I would have included a few others if I could.

I've been noticing more and more SaiMoe-related posts popping up on various threads. This same thing happened last year, and as a result (if you recall), new rules were put into place to govern posting regarding the tournament. You can see those here. In particular, "keep all Anime Saimoe Tournament posts, campaigns, character information, voting links, etc., within this thread only or in your signature". Obviously I'm in no position to tell anyone what to do, but I'd like to humbly request that everyone consider following those same guidelines again this year. I have absolutely new problem with the tournament; I think it's great people get to vote on their favourites, and am eager to see the results! But, at the same time, I do think having SaiMoe posts all over the forum tends to derail the various threads. I just figured I'd make the request before the tournament kicks into high gear. Thanks for your consideration!
