I don't find it funny or pitiful, but I DO find the woman horrible and undeserving of the poor young man.
May he find joy in his life and find a mate to spend it with.

I think the moral is, never do public proposals. In fact, never do anything in public that could be confronting and or embarrassing. In other words, just shop, eat and travel.

@ aohige, I don't know if I even want to risk watching that. I can't stand things like that, makes me cringe inside. Hell even happens in movies.... its like I'm embarrassed by proxy.

I agree. He insisted on putting her on the spot (after only three months of acquaintance, too...), she had to be firm in her rejection, and already some people conclude she's a horrible woman...
