Mezzo: DSA - a 13 episode action series

i dont think many have heard about it, the 1st and last episode are movie quality, the ones in between are bad

overall its entertaining with funny characters and unexpected plots

I have the DVD box I bough out of the blue. It's surprisingly good indeed. Too bad I can't remember this series while I write or tell a recommendation (maybe because of the title). Maybe the lack of recs is the why this series isn't well known.

Probably as of now, Fairy Florence is the rarest one. I dunno if it's easy to find the VHS or DVD on the market. It's not that hard to find this movie on Internet thou.

Other anime lotsa people probably didn't watch is Hakujaden. The DVD isn't that rare, but I guess nobody gives a chance to such an old anime from the 50's.

Experimental stuff like the The Naoyuki Tsuji animation collection is also not well known. Maybe it's not even recognized as anime. I can't even find a Wikipedia entry for it (although articles on Internet are somewhat easy enough to find).

Ippatsu kikimusume -wasnt mentioned yet i think. Just keep in mind its very silly and short.
i dont know how scarce maison ikkoku is but its a very good romance that i highly recommend, tho
kimagure orange road was more difficult to find for sure.

Isn't Skip Beat very popular? Might be my imagination.

I've never met anyone who watched Paranoia Agent(psychological awesomeness) or Hime-chan no Ribbon(the epitome of a 90s magical girl series).

I gotta say almost nobody heard Shamanic Princess. Which is quite a shame, since I think this is one good series. IIRC this anime come as OVA with 6 ep.

It depends on the meaning of "rare" but..

I find Ar Tonelico, Growlanser IV, and Pia Carrot (movie) as somewhat rare as that they only serve the purpose of being promotional as that there isn't much of a story in any of them. Ar Tonelico isn't even consistent with the game, no matter how you look at it. Its different from the beginning to the end yet it is made by the same people more or less.
