The other day I posted on someone's Visitors Messages wall but never received a reply. The message was to a new member, and I'm sad to say I've forgotten to whom I sent the note. If the person had replied I would have known the identity of my recipient, but without a reply I don't see any way to figure that out.

Obviously if I'd used a PM, it would have been kept in my Sent folder, but tracking outbound Visitor Messages seems a more difficult task.

Am I missing something?

There is no such feature. (...for normal non-administrator members)

If "The message was to a new member" then: iterate over the new members usernames/profiles and see if you can remember.
