Well... The past in the statement is not literally the past but experiences.
To put it in another simpler term: It is We are who we are due to past experiences. You can't avoid the past (will hit you like a brick if you do) and you don't move on from experiences, you learn from it and become a better person because of it. Alternatively, you can choose not to learn from it.... and be doomed to repeat the history. === Why Houki is envious of Ichika's inner strength? (She hurt somebody before) Why Cecilia is a little Anti-males? The past (her father and how the boys react to girls being favored) Why is Rin and Ran archenemies? The past (Their family open Ramen stores...) === Oh yea, For extra fun stuff, I am going to do recessive reality.... An anime fan is watching an Anime about Infinite Stratos, a story about a guy in ISA called Ichika Hint the existence of Praxidike, giving the impression that the fanfiction is the fanfiction of a fanfiction. And a character writing a fanfiction of a fanfiction of a fanfiction....because she think a fanfiction of the fanfiction is not good, so she is going to rewrite a better version of it.(Self-depreciation)

@ Demi - Read some cosmic horror stories. I know an Anime where it turned the cosmic horror stories to moe girls. It's pretty funny.
@ Meistah - Huh? @ Treme - The past does affect you, but it's already passed. We learn and start anew.

The past is the past. However sometimes the bonds we've formed then become fetters that just won't break. We learn to strain them, but sometimes those aren't enough to break them.
the girls don't really turn to cosmic horrors. At least not until Last One. |

Considering everything else doesn't makes sense *looks at Fanon!Schwarzer Hase* migth as well insert something incomprehensible, like uncannily beautiful ETX general wanted Dan as her mate.
"So I was here trying to assimilate earth, we're welcomed by a pair of angry, red headed young human attacked us with their toothed apparel. They call us monster, but ain't the humans are the real horror? It made me... interested" - ETX 109 [KOS-MOS] Human enemies gives more realism and emotion, as well as morality conflict.

@'Box - You can't hate EB's. Their morals don't apply to us, so you can't hate them for who they truly are. Humans, on the other hand, have morals yet still do things that are evil. Makes killing them all the more satisfying.

It's like Gundam 00 Movie, except played for humor. In fact, the ETX are so much harmless compared to another stereotypical aliens and United Nations (who spend at least 2 billion dollars creating ASDF JUST to counter them) calling screw it let them in. They tend to swallow machines and glomp on people though, at least most of them accept being pets and transportation as compensation

Though Before Stratos' antagonist is human, so I guess that doesn't apply.

Stuck on Laura and Charlotte's one off ability.
For Laura's it was a weird ability that affects her very being. She's split into two personalities. @_@ Charlotte's is currently still undergoing revamps but it's going to have to do with the IS network. On the note of having enemies, it's not a matter of what race or species you're fighting against. When you fight, it's always against ideology. So for me, I can write a story where anything can be fighting each other, so long as they have very very good reasons to exterminate each other's race. |

No, they aren't people, but some become smart enough to look and act like normal human (except they have metallic parts), the rest are dumb as dogs, can form any shape. Considering the original TLR, there is no Fantastic Racism in earth. Wham episode being a tradition of mine though, so...
