-Those parts that hold the wings, the two main wings, they are wobbly, as in FUBAR wobbly. The fact that I kept the wings off 95% of the time didn't help in keeping the parts stiff, but wow when you look at it, the parts are the hard, most likely ABS plastic with 0 (zero) polycap parts or those soft plastic parts. Thanks to that if I attach the wings on my Wing Zero the wings will bend back. -For a foot that can bend down, you'd think bandai would've spent a little more braincells making it bend up. Well, as you can see in my photos thanks to some severe modding by me the feet can now bend up wards and downwards(no additions to the parts, just a lot of "scraping"). Makes posing alot more fun now. But that opened up an age old problem with non polycapped joints: -My Wing Zero can no longer stand on it's own. That is, without the extended "bone" that slides out from behind the rear leg armor that helps the kit stand with the wings and all. But that limits poseability and if I hadn't modded the foot well don't even think about posing this kit with the "bone" extended. Can't show pics right now because all I have are cell phone camera's (good ole Exilim Casio died last month) so I can't give you a detailed shot of the "bone", but I'm sure a peek at dalong.net can help. Once again the Wing Zero will get wobbly over time due to the fact that its knee joints do not have polycaps, thereby wearing out the plastic eventually. -I'll say, the shoulder gatlings don't open fully..... -Ok, I'll be very picky here. The arm is not really the strongest of all MG's. In fact, a piece broke on the part that connects the arm to the shoulder, it's a ridiculously thin piece of plastic that broke... just by being there lol. Nothing super glue can't fix, but something that's a pain in the butt for German Super Glue -Last but not least, my problems seem to be with poseability only. With the lack of current tech this kit is not for the posers (although I did a serious mod job). If you are going to just stick it on the display stand (which I left in Germany, where I do not live in anymore), then okay it's a great, $50 display piece. Bandai, Version 2.0 please. (note: my MG Wing Zero Custom is only 1 year old.) My feet mod that enabled Kneeling that the original MG Wing Zero Custom couldn't do: I like my FG 1/144 Virtue. Maybe due to the fact it's the only Gundam00 kit I have been able to find in my vicinity. I like the kit so much I had to do this: Uh yeah, keeping with the spirit of all things Unicorn, I Gundam Unicorned my Wing Zero's face Shortly after that you can see I nearly finished "painting" the FG Virtue: Hope that helps. |

Wow, MG Impulse? I guess nobody saw that coming... The timing of the release just isn't right. And to be honest, I can't stomach its design.
On the other hand, OMFG!! OMFG!! HGUC Zaku FZ!? Am I dreaming? *pinches himself* Thank god I'm not. I've been waiting for this baby! And looking at the scan, it would seem to be equipped with the B-type helmet... Just the way I want it! Now, if only Bandai would release this in MG... Quote:

Naw, alot of us saw it coming. I for one saw it coming when the Extra Fin Force Impulse was announced, for some odd reason the Extra Fin Impulse + Extra Fin MG Freedom didn't seem right. Till now. Someone also noted how the main mobile suits from most of the TV series have been MG'ed, so this is no surprise either.
What I didn't count on was that this MG Impulse had to come 4 Strike Variations, 4 Zaku variations and several more MG's later. About time for an MG Impulse, but yeah the timming is off. Now if that Gundam Seed movie is in production now, hmmm..... Now there better be an Shinn 1/20 figure and a Lunamaria 1/20 figure as well |

thanks for the info mangatron, seems like the WZC has quite some problems. Joints with no polycaps? ack. Oh well, I guess I will think about it some more but with the facts you have posted guess I will have to pass from getting it lol
Better wait a little while for the new models ^^ |
