It started as an anime as far as I know(though the prologue novel started publishing before anime started?)

That was a hilarious episode. Yuri, you are a genius for creating a new mission like that. Everyone was all acting crazy and silly at the same time, and Yuzuru was watching all of this with minimal tension, excluding the part when he tried to compromise with everyone on how to use up their tension energy. Chariot event + High tension = War zone, which makes sense. And after all that has happened, the only new information Yuri knows is the fact that there was a gardening club in a basement. Kanade was so cute with her usual demeanor and reaction to most of the things that were going on and her thought process. Everyone simply collapsed when the mission was a failure and they had to fast for a week.

I have now fallen in love with Shiina and Yuri. Shiina's cute meter was over 9000 along with her tension meter. She looked so adorable trying to explain herself in front of Kanade. I fell in love with Yuri when she acted like a cute news-reporter when Yusa passed on the spotlight to her and when she was having her evil villain laugh moment. All were delicious moments for me.

Just wanted to point out, Otonashi got starved to death over the span of a week. Again.

I guess he was lucky he didn't get his memories back yet? Probably best he doesn't relive it knowing it happened before.

That was... meh. I understand it was the whole point of the operation, but the humor came across as way too forced. It didn't work at all for me.

This episode was still well worth watching for Kanade, Shiina and Yusa. I think that's the first time the latter got so much screentime.

Just because the epilogue follows the same path as the original Shadow creator doesn't mean that Yuzuru will follow the same path. For all you know, he stuck around a little longer, helped out a few people until he came to terms with Kanade's departure, then followed her himself.

Still, speculation is speculation. Of course, we'd want an extended epilogue instead, right? =D

I am going to suggest that he will continue helping others until he finds a suitable replacement for him to help with the new souls. He might be smiling since this blonde guy might be the one to replace him, when ready.

These were mostly pictures of the SSS members, I believe there were some pictures of Kanade too.

The "NEXT STAGE" at the end baffles me. Is it possible that Angel Beats! might have a sequel in the future? Does it involve the next batch of Rebels Against God? I wonder...

That would certainly be an interesting thing to see.

Alternate ending was lame, but I didn't really expect anything else. Just how long are you going to be self-sacrificing to continue your crusade, Yuzuru? Are you going to continue to make decisions for other people? But of course, lol, I never expected this show to answer anything. I really just wanted a better send off for our other characters; that would have been better than to salvage the plot, really; all you've done is create more Qs that won't be answered. I guess this is still better than the original ending.

Now to watch the special episode, which should be fun.

The episode itself... whoa. I knew most Key stories I've come across were made under the influence of something, but this episode feels like an overdose of some illicit substance. Crack packing, but I felt it lost me in the middle; Yuri stole the show for the most part. BAD END. MWAHAHHAHAH.

Not the funniest episode of the series, but then again I didn't mind seeing more of them.

It was defiantly worth the time Archon_Wing, its a very good way to see the special episode that was full of pack-action that most of us probably wanted to see during the series when it was still airing but still wished it answered some questions instead of creating more questions for us o.o. But still, enjoyable otherwise.
