Just a random guess...

If that Blonde girl is still alive and she isn't Awai, I bet she is the member of Usuzan High School. OR she will be one of other two players in the final round of individual tournament. (beside Teru and Saki)

They've introduced a lot of Pro characters

I wonder if Saki will continue pass high school?

You mean Saki's second and third year? That would mean we have at least two decades of Saki.....

And pray tell, is that a bad thing?
I guess the only thing I worry if that comes to pass is Ritz' release schedule.

About "Final Boss"

I think - In the final arc of Saki series, Sukoya Kokaji will challange Saki ,Teru and Nodoka for a game.

Wrong. The series will end with Saki challenging Nodoka's father to a game of Mahjong for her hand in marriage.

Why would she bother with someone like Nodoka? Replace her with Koromo, then we have a winner.

Because Koromo never qualified for the summer finals. All of the names mentioned are actually AT the Nationals as participants (and not as an audience like the Ryuumonbuchi team.

Also, again, I think it's far more fun for Saki to go challenge Nodoka's father, LEGEND OF KOIZUMI STYLE! Proposals, over-the-top mahjong style.

Too much talk about the fathers in a show where we have only one male character in the whole universe

I wonder if the other girl is older or younger then Saki. The answer to that question could determine who brought who to that pier. I can't help but predict this girl is a year older then Saki and a year younger then Teru.

The potential middle child perhaps?

Just because they're not the focus of the story doesn't mean that they don't exist. Also, we HAVE seen both Saki's father and Nodoka's father, Ryuumonbuchi's butler Hagiyoshi, the Nagano semis play-by-play commentator, as well as the visitors to Mako's mahjong parlor, so yes, there are males. It just happens that Koutaro is a poor specimen of the mahjong-playing variety...

I mean, SOMEONE has to contribute the other half of the genetic material, and as far as I know the Saki universe doesn't run on cloning (unless they've been cribbing technology from the 4th Reich in Mudazumo).
