Yet they don't look cool enough in comparison to espada - Barragan seems much cooler as an old dude.

I have this anime on DvD I agree but he kinda reminds me of brandon, in a way of having two guns etc. I was unaware of any other gungrave fans here on AS :P I'm glad i brought some out.

I've been thinking lately
Stark mentioned that Lilynette is a part of him, that they are actually one but they were separated...

and since they are separated, means that their powers are kinda lowered... but how come Stark's still numbah 1 though they have not resonated yet..
shouldn't Stark kinda be like have no number when they are not together? since his powers are incomplete without Lilynette.... I'm implying that his number should only show up when the 2 combines but noooooooo, though they are separated there's still that number... I think that means he has a power on his own even without Lilynette's help.. meh~ just a mere speculation

kinda like Yammy? his true number shows up when he released...

I hope you guys get what I mean...

Yamy is also the only one that keeps his number after he realeses, he is the only one that change his place when he realeses. Yammy is aslo unique so he could be lonliness too

Lilith is very weak so I'm guessing that Stark is the strongest among all unrealesed espada and thanks to weak Lilith he realeses and becomes the second in strenght next to Yammy.

well technically all of them are incomplete when they aren't released because their power is split with their swords.
stark's sword just talks back. XD

you could argue that maybe he split off enough more power than the others to make him weaker, but there isn't really a way to be sure.
now if lilynette was at least making ukitake try before they combined then yeah, but she wasn't exactly doing so well even with him just toying with her.

I can't translate it very well but I got that theres something to do with Buddhism(Ukitake?) and something about stark avoiding some attack(bamboo?).
