HELLLOOOO PEOPLE I'm looking for an anime that features some type of mysterious enigmatic girl, preferably in a main role. Maybe like... C.C. of Code Geass or some sort like that.

I know, quite specific, just wondering if there's anything like it in the wide wide world of anime.

You can follow Angel Beats this season.

There's also Durarara!!. The mysterious girl in question is a headless grim reaper that rides a bike.

Umineko - Beato might fit this
Higurashi - every girl in that series is a bit mysterious
ef - A Tale of Memories - main girl is definitely mysterious

I suggest Oh! Edo Rocket.

Isako is pretty mysterious when she first appears in Dennou Coil. Takes a long time to learn what's really going on with her, too. Not a romance, though. If you're looking for a couple, Rocket's a better choice.

Finally, there's the mysterious Kuromitsu in Kurozuka. This is a vampirish mystery that spans multiple centuries.

Apart from what has been suggested,

Monster. You don't really get any of the main characters till the end. And its a really awesome series anyway so just watch it.

Jigoku Shoujo. Kinda fits your description. And is a must watch.

Kara No Kyokai. Movie series but its kickass and Shiki is far too awesome to miss.

I will post more if I remember. But these three should keep you busy for a while. That said, C.C. is hardly mysterious...
