Havn't read the manga so I'm still not sure what to expect but going by people's description and some promo art maybe something similar to Chiaki from Moretsu pirates?

i think its too fast to judge visuals when we only have seen the basic character designs, and 2 images from magazines that dont even have background.

Also consider that magazine art rarely reflects exactly how an anime is going to look in motion. Still that artwork above......

Let me just announce beforehand that Momiji is the only pettanko I'd hit out of pretty much all pettanko I know.


But yeah, the art on these scans are a real turnoff. What the hell with Ichiko's face looking like a balloon?

you can go to the anime website,website to see at least the key visual from actual anime staff(though that can sometimes be more deceiving that what shown in magazines), i would love it anyways even if it looked like higurashi but kept the humor, i mean, setohana is one of my favorite animes.

Well, Daily Lives of High School Boys sorta proves that you don't need guilty crown or kyoani level art to be incredibly funny. Shouldn't be any different here.

Personally I don't mind the art at all, though I can't wait for some form of a PV to come out so I can visualize them animated.

Ichiko Sakura is a popular highschool girl who lives with a indestructible happiness. The only problem is that she consumes too much luck by sapping from other people. One day, while she's taking a bath, a poverty god named Momiji appears and explain to her that to restore the balance, she must reduces the high luck Ichiko regularly consumes. While Momiji keep lusting after Ichiko, the latter brings happiness for everyone, including her father who serves as her butler. While the show is technically comedy gold, there's also some heartwarming moments, and it looks hilarious and heartwarming at the same time ! References to other animes are also included in this one, including the hilarious references to Rurouni Kenshin, Medaka Box and Dragon Ball Z. This anime will bring happiness and smile if you feel depressed and needs something lighthearted.
