K-On! airs every friday at 2 AM japanese time. Hence approximately 4 hours from now. Note it down for the future, and for next episodes as well. Thanks.

Yui has to study because of her last test was bad. Too much guitar in her head. (Whoever said girls multitask)

Girls alone in the music room thinking of what she is doing while eating cake.

Yui asks Mio for help.

To go to Yui home for a study group.

Imouto is far from their imagination. Imouto is much more mature than Yui.

Ritsu seems to be hyper. Mio has to knock her on the head.

Mugi and her reliable cakes.

The girls meet megane guardian Nodoka. She also brought cake.

She's been taking care of Yui since kinder.

Yui sleeps and dreams they are stranded in a cabin in a snowstorm.

Mio tries to wake her up.

Mio worries about Yui at the re-test. Yui seems to have spent her life but worth it.

Probably the funniest episode so far (though note that it was the funniest of all episodes so far, but "funniest" doesn't necessarily mean it was all so funny).
It was overall an enjoyable episode to watch, but Yui's idiocy has started to reach the point where it isn't funny, just sad... And it still seems KyoAni is making her worse than the manga. I guess it might be because the whole episode was focused on her idiocy... Surely, if they don't focus completely on her, it won't be so bad... Surely!.......

Whoa. Was she supposed to be factoring those polynomials? ... nice, Yui.

If I was in the same situation I'd probably be as fidgety as Ritsu, not gonna lie. XD

First time I've seen head bumps stay onscreen that long... and disappear onscreen as well. Almost feels surreal...

Aw, we don't get to hear Ritsu's embarrassing story?

Does the moon go through phases that quickly? o_O How many days did it say had passed? 6 was it? Or was it 9...

Lol at Mugi's zoning out face...

And Mio's camera makes a return!

My personal favourite moment was the headlock by Riichan. It was funny in the 4koma, but it was hilarious animated. Definately need to get an avatar of that. Or if not that as my favourite, Riichan's little image of Yui rolling around on her bed laughing and munching on a potato chip and then continuing to roll would take the cake... I'm loving the bits KyoAni is adding into the 4koma source material.

Also, LOL, of course Yui got a 2% on the first test; she completely butchered the polynomial factoring! Silly girl <3.


And heh, when the girls were eating Mugi's cakes, Riichan had some cream stuck on her nose... I was really hoping someone would reach over and take it for her 8D

...I can see why some people might get irritated by the overall moe of the show, but it's refreshing break from all the heavy shounen I'm always indulging in, so I don't mind, just like how it was for Lucky Star. Well, I'd say I did like Lucky Star more if only because I could relate much more to being an otaku than a musician, but I suppose if I weren't musically impaired like I am, it would be the other way around. K-On!, though, is just all around a great series, I've decided.

The episode had its moments but there were a few odd spots that totally passed me by. (the snow cabin dream sequence?)

I would argue that this was as much a Ritsu episode as Yui's because of the former's antics. Like Yui I also thought she would be on the same level (score-wise)
