I have a feeling you'll give in

or buy a Windows based machine

Speaking of which, I require a second monitor to play Haruhi non-stop while I do my work

Last time I had to run to a computer cluster to play the raw... and I'm keeping the HQ version of the raws in addition to the LQ even though my iBook can hardly run them without stuttering Once I graduate (soon) and have work then I'll think about saving up for the R2s (It's going to cost a lot of my home country currency... )

what are you talking about?
It's obviously thart you put in a format for the superior system.

Besides
you got boot camp so you can have Microcrap Winsux on Mac, and it's downloadable for free.

so stop complaining.

Bootcamp may be free but Windows is not.

That and...
Spoiler:

A more elegant solution is triple boot and install Linux while setting up windows. You would not be stuck with watching Haruhi on rmvb this way.

Well... Since I downloaded the first episode of Haurhi totally blind on the first day it was fan-subbed... and since I didn't really know anything about the (very small at the time) US bandwagon... there wasn't much anticipation about it at all.

All of that changed about 15 minutes into the first episode though... but the real anticipation didn't really start building until after I had seen the second ep. It was all sorta a downhill spiral after that.

Downhill? You make it sound like a bad thing.

Pretty good episode four.

First half was jarring if you haven't been spoiled.

There was a bit in the middle when they ran the same 5-sec animation bit over and over for 1 minute, though.

Second half was, as expected, hilarious.

Mikuru gets abused again.

Gah, I forgot I made that post on the OP's Physics a couple days ago. Now I look again in a few days' time and see it's been made into a new thread.
