She got her wings clipped and she probably can't use the rest of her magic any more either. That's almost worse than character death for Nanoha, it's just slower and less dramatic.

What? It just shows that Nanoha is still as human and as vulnerable to the hardships of life as anyone else. Heroes eventually falls, ALL did and does.

Nanoha is the protagonist and is meant to triumph over everything that stands between her and the Good End. Regardless of how hard she may have to struggle against the odds, victory is always hers. Such an ignoble forced retirement is unworthy of her and her status as a heroine.

As for heroes falling, that depends largely on your point of view, and I have a much more romantic and idealistic view of heroism than you do, Sheba.

A little bit of AU drama never hurt anyone, this is just the damage from using Blaster Mode taken one step further. Calling it 'unworthy' is just taking it a tad too personal. If that already scares you, you don't want to know the stuff Nighty cooked up in the wake of the event. <_<

It is far more compelling for a hero to reach out and fail to grasp what he or she desires than to achieve success in every event. To always win and taste defeat in small amounts is to make a character one-dimensional and boring, not to mention thin the plot.

Protagonists don't always win.

Good ends pale in comparison to True Ends.

A story that's all sunshine and rainbows is hardly romantic. It's dull.

Is this truly the place to discuss/argue about the different views on how hero/ines should end their story?

Perhaps Generic, FFT or OCT would be a better place to do so, no?

Romantic? I'd say naive or pink-tinted.

Romantics, in the original meaning and context, accept the idea of misfortune and dim fate.

Cu Chulann? Died while stopping a whole army. Leonidas? Likewise. Lu Bu? Got jobbed in the end by his own men pissed at him. Elric? He razed and destroyed his homeland, his world ended then he died, stabbed by his own sentient sword after giving the world a new chance to exist. Jesus? We know what happened. Kenshin Himura? He retired but he passed the relay to Yahiko (here 'Master' Nanoha can be compared to Kenshin, passing her flame to Vivio.)

Does it make them less worthy as heroes? Hell no.

And I don't count the US comics superheroes, who runs on the bucks needs of their publishers.

How can one value something if he refuse to acknowledge the other side of the coin?

WHERE OUR CREDIT PAGE IS? D<
It's because it wasn't something as epic as BetrayerS.

Did I forget this page in the final .rar or did the person remove them or what. HayatexCarim is still welcomed.

But first, I hope your dryness is healed first. Let's trade more h-doujins!

SPEAKING OF DOKUPAN AND HER LOVE FOR THE YAGAMI FAMILY. -shifty eyes while coughing-

Anyone wanna share...

They are not supposed to be cute ^^. It's a reference to this show (and a very good/funny one so far IMO).

That's discrimination, I say! Well, it managed to spark a debate at the very least. That's gotta stand for something.

Nope, the credit page is definitely in the .rar. Hence why I raged a bit over it's sudden disappearance here. :<

Yes, that would be nice. Perhaps I'll even earn some angel wings in the process. Unfortunately, I only have about eight or so besides the SEEDs. It's a purely aesthetic pursuit, after all~

The tanuki thing comes from Genya calling Hayate a 'tanuki-onna' referring to Hayate's tricky nature, in the manga they actually gave her a tanuki tail and ears at one point.

Oh, I'm well aware of that.

I was talking about the "tanukinuki, tanukinuki, yansu~" bit.

Now, give raizoo your thanks for editing Master.

You sure Hayate wouldn't be better as a Succubus ?
