Not a bad first episode. Seems like it will have a few laughs so I'll probably see where the next few episodes lead.

Certainly if it's just about Kazama going through traumatizing experiences it won't be that good, but has some potential. His group of friends are a pretty good group.

While the whole water torture and tazer bit was questionable, the rest was ok. When 'darkness mode' doesn't get carried away Roka is a fairly cute character. I guess Kazama proves that good deeds can be punished since helping with the flyers and putting out that fire actually put him on their radar .

As a whole I enjoyed the episode so I'll see where it goes.

Pretty much my thoughts. The main crux of series is Kenji being the 'Only Sane Man" interacting with a cast of wackos some of which are probably borderline insane.

The productions for this episode were average, but frankly that really isn't bad for a show like this which relies heavily on humor (both random and not) to keep going.

This really turned out to be better than my expectations. Anime was able match manga's "eccentricness", and I like Anime's character designs better.

Decent first episode. It wasn't hilarious but there were a few jokes I found amusing, like the elemental types one. Roka's ultimate "fire" attack would have totally worked on me. So cute. I tend to like shows where pretty much the whole cast is crazy, so I'll keep watching.

The voice cast also is a big part of this show's appeal. Some very famous names in there.

actually in manga I found the first few chapters not funny enough. the manga get better in time. but anime made me like even those chapters. so I am so looking forward to the upcoming episodes

Liked it. Laughed out loud a few times.
I remember reading the first few manga chapters months ago, but it didn't really grab me, guess the addition of good voice acting makes or breaks these gag animes.

Different from Seitokai with its rapid fire gags, this has gags that hint at flashy background stories to the characters, but end up getting just passed over as gags lol. Like the fried chicken flashback and the basketball shot one lol.

Range of characters are fun too. With very bright character designs.
Looking forward to this every week in between all the battle/action animes that seem to be out in full steam this season.

D-Frag! works if you watch for its craziness of story and characters.

IMO, the manga also doesn't good at comedy but characters interaction is very enjoyable.

Main guy is Kazama Kenji? Pfft he's only a poser compared to Harima Kenji right next to him lol.

And Atsuru, who not only has the hots for Kenji but an M towards the seitokaichou as well? I kinda predicted they were going to end up in the girls locker room somehow, but the build-up due to FukuJun was top-notch.

So yeah, Brains Base is back for me after almost a year of me not liking their shows.

I like it! The first episode was hilarious and the animation is not bad. Wow, they got a lot of famous voice actors in this anime for both the guys and girls.

First episode had a few laughs but it was a bit weak overall. However, since people said the manga gets much funnier later on I'll give it the 3 episode rule.

The guy for writing his actual name on that paper slip or the girls for not questioning the name he wrote there...

I don't get that Vice President btw... Is he older than the other 3 or is he the same age and in the same grade?
Either way... Episode too short... :/

I am a fan of the manga, so I was really interested in see how the anime would turn out.

For the first episode, I guess I can say it was fair. Only real negatives I felt was I didn't realize Kenji screamed as much as he did on the run (I thought in the manga he more liked panicked instead) and a few of the character VA's felt sooo out of place. Roka and Sakura I think need to be switched. Maybe its because I didn't imagine them sounding like that at all. btw, wasn't Chitose nastier when she gets them suspended? It didn't really touch on that scene afterwards I guess.

IIRC, I think he's a grade over Kenji and co since it seems he came to the school a year earlier.
