Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (light novel)

From what I read in the Chinese spoilers,

Spoiler for V15:

V15 is basically a rescue-the-princess RPG volume featuring Yuto & Merry Maids with Haruka's dad as the final boss.

The end is a mock wedding on Haruka's birthday. It's a fairly standard happy end of this type of genre and it ties up most of the loose plot like Toka's family power struggle.

One thing interesting is the the series has been mentioning 4 huge families with Nogizaka in East, Tenoji at west, and two other families. It seems that the tow Notrth and South families are in his other work Koharubara Hiyori no Ikusei Nikki (which I planned to but has yet to follow)

V14 of Chinese version is due to release in 2 weeks at the International Book Fair in Taiwan so I expect V15 will out at either at Anime Expo in August or somewhere around May or June and I can order them online but other than that, I won't be able to know much more on the details.

If is the one that was mentioned at the end of V14, then yes. It was just a setup for the rescue-the-princess RPG.

If you are referring to the v15 ending, it was more like birthday party with a mocked up wedding/engagement party, whatever. I'm not exactly sure of detail but it did cement Yuto as Haruka's fiance/future husband.

Yuuto went to save Haruka and fought Haruka's dad. He rescued her and they both confessed their love to each other. Later, Haruka's in a wedding dress, and she and Yuuto went somewhere private. They kissed. Mika walked in after and asked if they kissed. Of course they couldn't answer it which made Mika realize that she guessed it right and then Haruka's dad heard this. It ended with Haruka and Yuuto running away with Haruka's dad shouting to them "What did you do" and they said "It's a secret".

That sounds about right, but like I said, I can't be sure of detail until I the Chinese version is out.

Yuuto's place is secure, and really, what Haruka's dad oppose of does isn't important within the Nogizaka family.

From what I read, I don't know if there is an official engagement, but the understanding is that unless something drastic happens, Yuuto is the first in line for marriage. Which is as good as an official engagement IMO.

My feel is that when it comes down to it the ending is basically your typical life-goes-on, same-as-before ending with the exception that Yuuto and Haurka confessed their feeling to each other. At same time, with genre like this you know they'll be fine.

If you are looking for a concrete ending, considering there is one more volume that acts as epilogue, there might be some related information in that.

BTW, they just announced that the anime's final season will be an OVA series.

Finally got around to reading Vol15 a while back... IMO, Yuuto got hit by the idiot ball even harder than the previous times he thought he isn't a match for Haruka... the volume was a tad painful to read.

Still, happy end Can't complain about that at least

I am not sure they're now married in the last volume (vol 16). It looks like the last volume might be a collection of short stories including an epilogue as I predicted before.

I wonder if vol 16's story will be included in the OVA series cause I think it's most likely will end at vol 15's story.
