Can't say it didn't have a good run though. The stopping point was kinda nice though.

Unlike a lot of my friends I was completely satisfied with where the series ended.

I mean, sure they have a few plot hooks for the future. But plot hooks and plot threads aren't the same thing. The threads have been adequately wrapped up at this point.

Well I don't know about all that but even though it left me wanting more I still felt satisfied with the ending to the point that I'm ok with it ending where it did.

I'm the same, I am utterly satisfied with the anime. I doubt we're ever gonna get enough manga material for another run anyways

Apparently not an April Fool's joke, H x H is going to premiere on Toonami 4/16.

Just finished watching it the other day, now a lot of anime I watch or have watched look like crap when compared to this one, it's like watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood all over again.

Gon pissed me off most of the time but was cool.

Killua is obviously the best character, at first I thought he would be the Sasuke of this anime but thank god that didn't happen.

Leorio and Kurapika are awesome.

Hisoka was badass, fabulous AF and the gayest thing in the anime until I saw Shaiapouf.

Kite ending up as a girl at the end was one of the funniest thing in the anime.

And Ging has to be one of the worst fathers ever, but in a loveable pu ch in the face sort of way, gotta love how everyone just insults him everywhere he goes, not just anyone earns that kind of reputation.

Just all around awesomeness, animation was godlike for a long running series and the story, characters and world building was just too good, too bad I missed it when it was originally airing.

I also finished it a month ago, wow, i hated shounen genre in general, crap like Naruto, one piece, bleach etc. Hunter X Hunter 2011 tops all that stupid trophes that this genre had issues with. The fights are few but damn awsome, the music, animation and characters are amazing.

Love it

I guess you didn't get the memo about who was the character who inspired Sasuke. (it wasn't Killua)

Of course I don't, especially since I don't care about Sasuke or his clones, they can go die in hellfire for all I care.

I have to say that Meruem and the Royal Guard were a buch of pretty interesting antagonists, why the fuck haven't other mangakas, LN authors or anime script writers learned from this series, THIS is how you keep someone entertained from beginning to end.

Now I feel bad about Kurapika.

Poor Kurapika, so underappreciated.

Sorry, I wasn't in a very good mood when I made that reply so I didn't put much thought into it, but seriously trust me that there is not one person that wouldn't notice the similarities, watching this anime didn't improve the image of Naruto or Kishi if anything i'm surprised that Kishi hasn't been sued yet.

As for me thinking Killua would be the Sasuke like character it was only at the beginning and it was only because of how much mangaka seem to like to make that kind of character friends with the mc just for the sake of creating drama later on, and by that point I just wanted something different (I was about ready to give up on shounen action anime/manga at the time), thank god that HxH was amazing.

You can't really sue somebody for being inspired by your work.

Well, you can, but it's bad PR.

Glad that it's going to air in Toonami, watch and see how this becomes the new Naruto (popularity-wise).

I just started re-watching Kateikyo Hitman Reborn (for like the 5th time) and since watching Hunter x Hunter I can't help but think about how fitting and awesome it would be if Madhouse gave Reborn the same treatment as Hunter x Hunter. But this time around they could adapt all of the manga chapters up until the last arc, now THAT would be awesome to see.
