Personally I think they should say that Destiny no longer is official canon, do a big rehaul the staff that worked on Destiny (especially the top key positions) and redo it.

Alternatively

Say that the movie will replace the episodes coming after Kira and Freedom got downed by Shinn and Impulse.

If it is true about Fakuda having script problems y not use other directors who are fresh eg the team that did stargazer....

Now that i think about it i did enjoy stargazer quite alot.. cant see any harm having the same team doing a GS movie.

^I disagree, 00 is better than Destiny in terms of the protagonist's self control over himself. And its plot seems to be much thicker than that of Seed or Destiny.

Really? What makes you think that? So far, the differences between Gundam 00 and SEED/Destiny is, very slim. We have a war and we have an organisation that wants to end all wars. Can that be found in SEED and Destiny? Yes. I don´t think Gundam 00 has gotten to the point yet for anyone to really say it´s better or worse than any other Gundam-show with credibility. If you only judge each shows three first episodes that´s a different story then, but in that case Destiny´s first few episodes is pretty highly praised.

To be on the safe side I´m going to point out that I think Gundam 00 has started out pretty good. Rock on AEU.

Have you been watching 00? There is no war currently, there is a lot
of low level conflict bordering on what we would call a cold war, but definitely not a hot war occuring.

Gundam SEED Destiny wouldn't Gundam SEED Destiny if it weren't for Shinn. It would be an entirely different story if it was Setsuna there. It wouldn't make sense, the entire back story of why SEED Destiny started was because of why Shinn joined Zaft.

If you place Setsuna's character in Shinn's shoes then the entire story would be different. I personally didn't completely like the series. A complete rehash of Zeta Gundam and the mecha designs were top notch at being awful. But despite that, It showed what certain characters can do when their life is fueled by hate.

gundam seed universe had so much potential, but the way of presentation by fukada blew it. But a 3rd serie or an astray serie would sell well and be enjoyable.
To be honest, after watching GS1, GSD and then stargazer. I was disappointed by the anime but still craved more for this gundam universe. And after reading the astray manga series and then the seed destiny delta (blah blah blah) series it just makes me believe the seed universe has a lot of potentials.

No, of course not. But, yeah, fighting would have been a better choice of word than war, I agree with that. But I´ll withhold that no one can say with credibility already now that 00 is better than SEED and, or, Destiny.

But for the share Gundam 00 is worse, the last top 10 anime-week was

1. Sazae-san - 17.6%
2. Chibi Maruko-chan - 12.0%
3. Detective Conan Special - 10.9%
4. One Piece - 8.7%
5. Gegege no Kitaro - 8.4%
6. Pokemon Diamante & Perla - 7.5%

That was for Ep 3, and Gundam 00 was 11th with a 4.8%. Its been in 6th, 7th and 8th place all other weeks.

And actually so far 00's ratings have been much more consistent than Seed Destiny's had, especially since Destiny's was helped by typhoons and so forth causing everyone to stay at home and watch TV. Otherwise it had a 4.6% for the 2nd ep and 4.9% for the 3rd ep.

00's by contrast were 5.4%, 5.5%, 4.8% and 5.5%. By NO MEANS a flop.

speaking of GS next year is GS movie & maybe after the GS movie could other GS projects besides maybe the fans should get to make the next GS story.

My phrase is just a witty remark, but in my opinion the first 4 episodes of Gundam 00 were very boring and they gave no emotion.

The results seem to indicate a very large dissatisfaction overall with Gundam SEED where core Gundam fans in Japan are concerned. SEED is rated dead last against every other Gundam series in the judgment of the people polled. 3/4 of the people polled are 20 years old or above and 1/2 of them were initially exposed to Gundam through MSG. That said, while the largest segment bought absolutely no SEED merchandise, its interesting to note that a sizeable number of these same fans who disliked the show still bought SEED model kits and, to a lesser extent, CD singles and Astray-related merchandise.

By that logic, Victory, G, Wing, X, Turn A and SD Gundam Force were total bombs and complete disasters that fell off the face of the Earth with their floppiness.
