Actually I heard a rumor somewhere that it will be getting a 3rd season. I can't remember where I heard it but it would be really awesome if Qwaser gets a 3rd season!

Hood's Entertainment's next anime is Manyuu Hiken-chou which looks awesomely ecchi too. It's supposed to start airing July 11. So I guess the if third season of Qwaser is confirmed, it would air after Manyuu Hiken-chou finishes airing. So the earliest we would see Qwaser season 3 would be sometime in the fall, maybe.

After watching the first season in mid July 2010 last year, I was excited when I read that they were in the process of producing a second season.

I agree that the last few episodes are just fillers and that it seems that the anime has lost any sense of direction since episode 6.

Either way, I still enjoy the show and I really hope that they produce a third season. I also recall reading news of a third season somewhere but I'm not too sure.. Also something about a few OVA's after the second season has finished airing. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Also, Whats the current status of the new Anime Law soon to be implemented in Japan? How would Manyuu Hiken-chou or Qwaser be allowed to air another season if the law is in effect?

I think they are caught up to the manga already for the most part so I don't know if a 3rd season is possible.

oh, don't worry. they will be aired, 'censored to death' of course.
after all, self-regulation was already put in place on April 1st, and yet we still got stuff like Qwaser II, Ore-Tachi, SoftTenni, nopan-anime Lotte, etc. (with the compliance of censors) - so, I don't think it'll be a problem for Manyuu Hiken-chou either.

it's anime like YnS or Aki Sora, that we probably aren't going to see anymore...

Is this going to be just 13eps or are they going with a full 24 like the last season. It would make now since now with all these fillers episodes

Unfortunately I think it will only be 12 episodes long and not 24 like the first season. So there is only one censored episode and two uncensored episodes left to air.

However, there are rumors of a possible third season in the works, and there are also some rumors of some more direct DVD ovas (like the episode 10.5 ova). Not to mention there will also be DVD specials on the dvd and blu ray disks. So don't worry, there's still plenty of Qwaser to look forward to in the future.

I just hope the Specials are not those stupid picture dramas again. Although I highly anticipate them to be.. Damn..

If they do end up making a third season, they'd probably mention it in December as that has been the trend recently for both seasons or I could be wrong and the may announce it earlier if it does happen.. Here's Hoping ! >,<

Was it a sick episode or plainly made nonsense at all?

I need to be honest that as far as the big boobs visual gags and jokes fly everywhere in these seemingly, non-stop fillers, unfortunately, I've reached the jumping-the-shark moment with them.

I mean the sucking-for-soma-from-big-boobs jokes has become so standardized common and dull, that all the jokes felt unsavory and distasteful to me.

There was absolutely NO dialogue at all hinting at the state of affairs between Athos, Adepts, and Meteora.

I'm telling you that the fillers are killing off this season; this episode would have been more suitable marketed as a DVD special.

It's kinda weird that the loli girl with the short silver hair (forgot her name) is the only one who wears a towel in the hot springs. Maybe they are saving fanservice from her for the DVD specials or something.
