I'm so glad these painful three weeks are just about to come to an end. Been rewatching some of my favorite scenes, pumping myself up for the 12th episode tomorrow. I can't wait.

Same here, though it does help that i've had the new season to take my mind away from the show.

I havnt myself, and I am really waiting to finally watch Shiki again! I'm glad it airs tomorrow

As a little appetizer, check out this little bit of an audio extra from the special edition first DVD/BD. The media player on this page gives us a minute or so from "Sunako's Room," a comic extra featuring Yuuki Aoi with Uchiyama Kouki (Natsuno) and Ohkawa Tooru (Dr. Ozaki). The two guys do the radio show.

About 15 hours to go.

Well...you could try the radio show, which can actually be loaded overseas (unlike those of certain other series...>_> ).

though...it's not Uchiyama Kouki, but Okitsu Kazuyuki (Seishin) who's doing the radio show with Ohkawa-san.

edit: Uchiyama-kun did a one-night-only (i.e. it was available for just one night

) radio special with Takahashi Shinya (Masao) before the actual radio show started. It was called the "Student special"...even though Takahashi-san is 31! He spends a lot of this one-hour show in character as Masao, but it seems like the two of them get along quite well in real life, unlike their characters on the show, which made for a pretty high-tension show

. Has me wondering what they were like at the all-night event last weekend...

and: reading a report on that all-night event talkshow now, which had Uchiyama, Takahashi and Okamoto Nobuhiko (Tohru-chan) chatting about the show. 'Tis pretty cute.

How much of the manga has the show covered so far? If it catches up with the manga, is there any chance it could adapt the original novel's ending, just like when the NHK ni Youkoso anime ended before the manga?

Pretty sure it's going chapter per episode or something of the sort.

About 12: Horrible new OP. Awesome new ED. Lots of Toru x Yuuki. Yuuki&co being the idiots they always were - another surefine Shiki episode.

Shiroth Beautiful fighter. Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: England, UK Age: 37	I'm so pleased to have this show back. Spoiler for Episode 12: & wow what an episode it was. Without a doubt the best scene of the episode was the confrontation between Natsuno and Toru. It's so horrible having to watch what's become of the two, especially the little confrontation when Natsuno was shouting at Toru, telling him to act more like a vampire. Loved how the scene with the Kirishiki family (i believe this is the first time we've seen all three together in the same room), and how their dialogue matched Toru's situation. So fitting. I couldn't help but rage a little at Natsuno's Father in this episode (especially when he trolled us about actually believing the children). Though at the same time i totally understand why he's on such a path, thanks to learning his backstory a few episodes ago. Oh and it looks like Natsuno's Mother was bitten. Strange how the Father hasn't noticed anything, though at the same time the same can be said for he's not taking Natsuno's condition that serious. Had to laugh at Kaori's Father forgetting for a few seconds that Megumi was dead . Also you have to hand it to Tatsumi yet again, on how he easily controlled Megumi there by telling her what's been happening between Kaori and Natsuno, and spinning the truth a little. It's really hard to see Natsuno's future looking good after this episode, though i'm sure there's still something to happen that will shack the story. Can't wait Loving the visuals for the OP, though it's a shame the actual song doesn't fit the series that well. ED is absolutely fantastic, with a very stunning BUCK-TICK song. So glad we only have to wait a week for the next episode! It's great how this one episode blows away everything i've watched from the new season. __________________ MyAnimeList Twitter
