Netflix Castlevania Producer: “Metroid is Next!”:

"Adi Shankar, the producer of the Netflix-based Castlevania anime (its first season is
available now), has mentioned his interest in creating a Metroid anime, one that will follow
in the same vein as his Castlevania animation by being dark and gritty.

Despite having already begun work on an Assassin’s Creed “anime” series, he has stated

It will be either OVA or movie length depending on how much fund it raises. But it already raised more than half of the minimum in just one day, so I think it will be a movie in the end.

I've seen a larger version of that image. It says けものフレンズ2制作決定. The けものフレンズ writing is small and embedded in the larger 2. Underneath the 2 is the English words "SECOND SEASON". It also makes mention of collaborations with zoos and various events.

Apparently not an historical story about the Bataan death march. As an older American the term "death march" automatically conjures up Bataan. I guess young Japanese don't have the same associations with the term. I wonder how many of them have even heard of it given Japan's presentation of World War II in its schools.
