[Manga] How will episode 26 {last episode} finish the season?

No, they are talking about the Claymores, so much that Priscilla says that all up to the last candle has burned out. (and 23 AO walked away alive by the end of the battle IIRC)

About the Ending, some changes has keeping me worried as well, mainly Raki's change of reason to going North

Now, the events about truth of the north will make no sense, because if Raki was there searching for Clare, why would he go back south, and, latter on, what would motivate Clare to go back south after him? those event are critical in the manga, so this change is pretty big indeed.

Undine scene also has importance, the main reason of her breakdown is her near awakening.

So, these, coupled with the total exclusion of Alicia name so Far Paint a diferent Scenario.

Of course an original ending may still create a cliffhanger, but I see it dificult to connect with events of the manga for an possible second season.

I agree that Pieta will be the end of this season in the anime. It gives a good "Chapter 1 end" kind of transition to the anime.

But what the crap do I know? I'm still waiting on them to continue with the Berserk anime.

Heres how I think the last 7 episodes will play out:

Spoiler for ep 20-26:

Im guessing 20 will have Flora vs Clare, Isley training Raki, maybe Deneve interacting with Undine, and the main AB army being sent at the end.

21 would be the fighting against the AB army and the first part of the boss battle vs Rigald.

22 would be Clare vs Rigald

23 would be the aftermath of 22, fighting it out with the rest of the ABs, the organization & Galatea talking, and Isley/Priscilla/Raki going south

24 would have the Abyssal ones fighting + Alicia

25 would have to have Rafaela's flashback and "reuniting" with her sister. The end might be the 7 year jump and the new crew being saved by the veterans (possibly beginning of next ep.)

26 would have the veterans discussing things (and fighting) after 7 years and I'm guessing it'll end with the last page of chapter 67 (them deciding to go back south after all this time)

I don't think they could fabricate an ending with so many loose ends.

Is it really necessary to spoiler a thread which basically only CONSISTS of spoilers?

21+22 will be the Invasion of Pieta

all this leaves us 4 eps to conclude things. Here's my prediction:

23: Aftermath. Riful/Duff make short work of the west. Beginning of Easley-Lucrezia
24: Rafaela-Lucrezia backstory. Alicia/Beth/Galatea/Rubel
25: Claris/Miata. More Organization backstory
26: The Magnicifent Seven - backstory and their decision to return for revenge

If we're very very very lucky (I'd love to see it this way), then the Aftermath ep23 is pulled into 22, winning us one extra ep. In this case we MIGHT be able to get one episode for my pure enjoyment: Riful manhandling the cocky new Claymore bunch before the Fab Four ride to their rescue. In this case, the finish would be the scene with Audrey telling Rachel that they've just been rescued by the wraiths of the past.

I'm not holding my breath, but it might work, and it would be pure win and awesome ^_^

I highly doubt they will introduce Miata (Clarice's hunting party needs to be rescued first) or Riful fighting Audrey/Rachel, since this all seems like the beginning of an Arc of searching for Galatea. I think it would be too much new information for a season finale.

That would make more sence as to why Priscilla was crying ,why would she cry over claymore anyway however

The 23 remaining AOs went on after the battle there and were killed by Riful and Alicia as two separate groups of 11 and 12 AOs. The "candles" are the Claymore's yoki, which are completely suppressed when they lose consciousness due to the half-dose of the pill they took before the battle. The fact that Priscilla believes all the Claymores are dead is proof that Miria's plan of "faking" their deaths worked. Why she is crying has yet to be fully explained, but given how easily she and Isley use them as diversions so they can go south, I seriously doubt she's crying for the AOs.

Anyways, as for my guess of when this season will end, it highly depends on whether or not they definitely plan on doing a second season or not. I cannot find a reference at this moment (will look around more) but I believe I read that the manga publication will be moving from monthly to weekly (or it might have been biweekly... I really need to find where I read this again). If that is the case, it would not be unrealistic to believe that the mange publication is being accelerated not only due to their increased popularity but also to accommodate a second anime season in the near(er) future.

If they definitely plan on producing a second season, it seems possible that the first season will end at an unresolved moment. Priscilla commenting on the last candle going out seems like a good time, but I'm not certain there is enough material for episodes 20-26 before this point, especially when you look at the currently registered episode names (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ency...d=7028&page=25). What seems more likely to me is that season 1 will end at the 7 year break or right after, with Clarice finding the swords. I think it'd be hard for them to fit all the material in that comes before this though.. so who knows.

If they don't plan on making a second season... I really have no idea where they'd end it. Based on how close the anime is to the manga so far, I doubt they'd make up an ending just to have closure. It always angers me when animes do that.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. =P

EDIT: Okay, so I found the original page where I read it was changing to Shounen Jump Weekly, but it states that Claymore was not necessarily becoming weekly. My bad on that. =P

I did find that Claymore would be switching to Jump Square on Nov. 2nd. Unfortunately it sounds like this will be the dates of upcoming publications:

God, I hope not. This series at least deserves another season, if it were to end at one there would be a lot of sad pandas(a.k.a claymore fans) out there.

My theory is in the manga, everyone will die Ideon style. If that happens, it will be most awesome and tragic ending ever.
