I’ve always loved Fate-chan. That much I knew as far back as I could. I’m not exactly sure of when, but it was after we met Hayate-chan at least. It’s still a bit awkward, but Vivio seems to be enjoying this. Hayate-chan really knows how to take care of her whenever Fate-chan and I aren’t here. Every time I come home, I always see Vivio run up into my arms with a bright smile on her face, and start going on and on about how Hayate-mama was so much fun while we were away. I think I’m somewhat jealous. What with Hayate-chan being an officer and able to do a lot of her work at home, she doesn’t spend as much time on base.

Fate-chan and I unfortunately are forced to either be on the field, or on the training base due to our positions, so we don’t get to see Vivio as much. It’s a bit frustrating that I, her adoptive mother can’t even spend as much time her, compared to the time she spends with one of my lovers.

Despite that, I love Hayate-chan dearly.

It’s really funny when people ask me how I am able to love two people at the same time. I simply smiled at them and say because I’m the one who loves them the most.

It’s true. I love them so much, that I’d probably die for them; any of us would.

But there’s more to that. We love everything about each other, the good and the bad. We’ve all showed each other our good and bad sides. Nothing about our personalities is hidden. On the whole, we all compliment each other. We all have something to give to this family, balancing out our weaknesses or bad sides.

We’ve all gotten into situations where we’ve argued with one another over one thing or another. But I honestly wouldn’t trade those arguments for anything in the world, or in this universe. That’s what makes us family. Our differences give us our bond. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

It’s funny though. In the first 10 years since I’ve known about Hayate, I had never felt anything towards Hayate. I had considered her a good friend, but never had I considered her a possible lover. But that all changed during that mission when we were 20. Oh man, just thinking about that still makes me blush; who would’ve thought though that I owe my happiness to my captors, who just so happened to be such perverts. I really wonder what was going through their minds, tying us up like that. But what’s worse, I think Hayate-chan wants a re-enactment of that position.

But in the end, it added Hayate-chan to my family. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Mmm... another nice piece to the triangle. We have Hayate's POV focusing on just the concept of their love triangle and the little things that makes it tick (as well as the naughty bits) and Nanoha's focus on family. These two have really been Point of Views and i can't wait to read Fate's take on their little love nest. Maybe she wouln't be as shy (but not explicit) about their little run in with the pervy captors....

Again i can't wait to see the full picture of this family...

....Family huh.... This could get quite interesting, but I'll keep that train boarding at the station until we hear Fate's side.

Although I always prefered stories focused on main couple (mainly because there is only a few focused on other), I enjoyed really yours. Are you planning 4th chapter or sequel (something from "present time"?

One thing: Is there mistake in my tired eyes or you sometimes forget to close quotation marks (or how this >> " " << is called, dictionary offered me 6 words)? It's quite difficult to puzzke out where is character's speech and where is regular text.

Wherever I was, was my current home. You learn that after being drafted so many times. So what was it?

I wanted to ask you, but I held it in for some reason. Your eyes were happy as well, something that caused me to look at them again and again during the time we spent together here in this large room. Was it you...? Yes, that is what it was. You were smiling. That was what made me so happy. I didn't need a giant room, a comfy bed, a good meal, a steady home... I needed your smile. That was enough to please me.

You sat down next to me and simple looked over at my face. We havn't said anything in a while now but we really didn't need to. What could we say? It's been a while? Nice to see you again? Isn't this neat? Those words were a little pointless. We knew the answers already.

I felt your hand on mine, fingers interlacing between each other's. Why is it you always liked putting your palm on the top of my hand? I would never understand it, but I liked it so it was okay.

Why were you looking at me like that? Your eyes changed now...softer. Did you know I could tell? Read your emotions through your eyes? I can. Right now you were saying 'I'm glad you are next to me' with them. Silly girl, I was always next to you.

You moved closer, free hand touching my back as you laid me down on the bed. The long missed gentle weight of your body pressed softly on me, your hair falling from your shoulders and onto my neck. Were you going to make love to me? Gentle hugging, soft whispering of words I didn't fully hear but understood deep in my heart.

You loved me, just as I loved you. I've known that for years now, and I felt no need to stop the actions. Instead I welcomed them. Your gentle kissing, the constant embracing, softly spoken words of adoration. Your hand never left mine, no matter what. Always holding, embracing my as if you say that you were there.

Our motions never sped up, never became frantic like people say they do. Always caring, each touch a wonder of new sensations. It was amazing, Fate. I could feel the meaning in everything. The love we shared, the emotions we held, the feelings that always stayed.

When it was over you didn't move away from me. Instead your body stayed above mine, sweat rolling down your neck. When had we become so hot? Had our breath always come out in puffs? I never noticed, your eyes had kept my focus. In them I heard everything you would have wanted to say. You loved me this much? Yes, I love you too, so much that simple words wouldn't do it justice. Can you see it in my eyes, Fate? Right now, under you, basking in the afterglow of our gentle lovemaking?

I finally decided to take a look at this and I'm glad I did. I think you did a really good job on this fic. It felt... full. You put in events and thoughts into the story to make Signum and Shamal a couple. I didn't get the feeling that it "just happened" that their feelings developed over time (though those just happen moments are good if one justs adds more support to them). And what ever difficulty you had writing that last chapter had to serve to make the story better.
